24.10.30 Rainbow Chill Session Pt. 1 • Handpan Meditation Music • A2 Sabye 14 • Jimmy Fisher
A quiet evening turned into a jam session on both of my #handpan scales. This is part 1 - part 2 to follow on my F# Low Pygmy.
It's been an interesting opportunity to teach myself on this A2 scale without any real reference or tutorial page due to it being a custom scale. I keep learning more and more about the notes and what works and what doesn't.
Also using some @MalteMarten techniques learned in the @MalteMartenMethod course I've been taking.
Played on my A2 Sabye 14.

It's an F# Low Pygmy 21. I got mine from a company in the Czech Republic called Savita, but if you search F# Low Pygmy, there should be a bunch. Malte's company Yatao had a 19-note version for pre-sale, but it's sold out.

Yeah, they definitely have different vibes. I’ve been playing the A2 more and trying to figure out some different playing styles. I also was playing my F# Low Pygmy with this video and it sounds so ethereal and cool. Gonna figure out how to play both and edit something together soon

There isn't usually any 1-on-1 feedback on videos I've made or my specific playing from the teachers, but the community is really supportive and inspirational. The live calls are the place we can ask 1-on-1 questions to Malte and other teachers (including technique questions), so those are great, too.
