I personally don't think these can/should replace the conventional (pronated) grip, but are a worthy variation to add to your chest routine as they work the chest and upper body slightly differently. Remember to lower the weights while trying them out if they're new to you. Be safe having fun guys.🫶
Most of this is cal big guy it does not help grip strength if puts more tension on your rotator cuff it also increases risk of elbow lockout and injury this just cap it also dont help build much muscle period its only going to hit front shoulder delts
Thanks for stopping by. It's actually no brainer that this surely enhances your grip strength, as more motor units and stabilizers are recruited to keep the bar (and weight) throughout a rep. Risk of elbow locking is pretty baseless, which is even less likely with this supinated grip, compared to the conventional pronated grip. This variation is way harder, and as a beginner (like I am with it), you've gotta lift lighter weights to master its execution and form. Try them out before you pass out a verdict.
PS: Check out the legendary Mike O'Hearn with them - they are his favorites. I only just started trying them out, and while I don't think they are in any way a substitute for the regular variation, they are more than enough-worthy to be incorporated into one's chest routine.

My thoughts though.....you tend to get more hypertrophy when there's a deep stretch, especially on the eccentric. Dunno if I make sense.
@@GoddyNeymar You surely do make sense, as some studies have validated there's better hypertrophy with eccentrics. This workout however is basically a PUMP kinda, with pulses while contracting really good.

It's not Mike Tyson push up its Hindu push ups
No bruh. The Hindu PU is akin to Dive Bombers (or dive-bomber PU), where the knees are NOT bent, and you MUST come up when lowered, raising up your upper body and locking out your arms. This one is just "rocking pu" (as I prefer calling them), where you just rock, and must have knees bent and never extend upwards like in Hindu and Dive Bombers. According to a couple of persons, Mike Tyson made them popular, and are called after him. Thanks for stopping by.
