God I need to get back onto wow
Polygon counts may be lower, but the views are still breathtaking
Yes indeed. I remember going on discovery as a very low level and reaching Ratchet. Wondered where that boat went and hopped onboard. Suddenly the tropical Booty Bay in all its pirate splendor emerged. I went through the tunnel into Stranglethorn Vale and was killed right away by a high level Gorilla :) But one of many adventures to remember fondly... :)
And now Turtle WoW has me hooked again!
@@ericholliday4459 I just started on the anniversary server, same there!
That is called a community being corrupted nowdays.
I played in TBC I was hooked when I level my blood elf hunter learning everything for the first time didn’t get my pet until level 15, then my friend told me I can get it at level 10 lol I was shocked but it’s was excited about it at the same time.
You now get a 100% speed mount at level 10 for 95 silver.
159 Subs? Lemme change that to 160
Thanks mate <3
YOU ARE WRONG
@@李飛飛大燒B why?
05 -10 was wows prime. i never wanted to miss a day of playing wow back then. no game will ever top that type of fun. and my guildies i spoke to on vent and raided with were the coolest people i played with in that era.
thanks my favorite zone ❤
Outstanding work as always mate. Breathtaking ambiances
I'm really happy to hear that, thank you!
I clicked liked but then I noticed the voice is AI and had to dislike it
@@sfarsitulumi I had already said it in another video, because of my accent and my English skills, I can't do VoiceOver. Everything in the video is from me. There is a lot of work in the video. I can't understand how people think just because that's VoiceOver, the whole video fell so from the sky. It's a pure hobby and I don't earn a cent with it. But I still thank you for your feedback.

Mindfuldness for the soul.
Always
I mean with all the changes to the game, WoW is already its own 2.0, 3.0 and beyond. Very little remains of the original game philosophy that was present in WoW when it was first introduced.
@@thenerdbeast7375 are u still playing?
@@NostalgicForge Yep. Same engine, basic bones are the same but the flesh upon them has changed a lot.

That whisper snare sound just makes me jump up
Hopped on the first time ever, seeing this absolutely enchanting forest completely forgetting to level up but just exploring, another player spawned with an alt and friend requested me and we leveled up together a while, one completely new to the world and the other who had probably spent 1/3 of his life in this world. I'm sad I didn't get to experience classic back in the days cause the world is absolutely staggering even in modern times.
@@RedPainter666 when did you start playing wow?

A 💯, 2004
i loved this game for 20 years but now i really get annoyed with the game and new things. the first time i went to Orgrimmar i was like wtf how big.
We will probably never get the magic of that time back, but playing a little classic with friends is always fun!
Dark shore baby
Classic or retail?
@NostalgicForge teldrassil doesn't exist in retail curse you blizzard for it
The only reason Blizzard isn't making wow 2 is money. As long as current players pay, things will remain the same. But here's Blizzard's big problem. How many new players do they manage to pull in? In a world with so much history and lore, why would a new player even stick? They won't understand the story. Nothing will make sense and Blizzard doesn't bother explaining anything. They just release a new mount to make up the money from 10 cash cows that pay as much as 1000 new players would on a sub. For how long will Blizzard be able to milk the ppl that still play? Time will tell. Me personally, I was way too late to the party, and even when I spent hundred of hours watching lore videos to "get it", I wouldn't play on Blizzard because I will never have the chance to be equal with other people. So many mounts, achievements, items, events and many more things that I missed and will never be able to get or experience. How can I ever compare myself that started playing in 2024 with someone in the game since 2015 or so? No chance. So why even bother players when I'll always be inferior. I'm just waiting for them to do something new where every1 starts from 0.
I used to make a new character sometime around Halloween just so that I could question this area for spooky season.
Stitches
Your comment has me in stitches 😂
Blizzard won't make WoW sequel because WoW as it is already has a sufficiently large population of whales. Blizzard is not in the making great games and selling them business, Blizzard is in the whaling business. Just like every single mmo on the markets today.
Something about how you said, " two point zero" stuck a nerve
Awesome video! I would love you to do the voice over with your own voice ! Keep it up 💪🏼
WOW has had a decline since WOTLK, most of the money the game makes comes from microtransactions rather then subscriptions. Most of the people who are playing the game now are old diehard fans, WOW is failing to attract a new audience. It is true the game is evolving and has evolved a lot since 2004, but it still feels like an old game and the old content hasn't been updated (2:10 this model is 12 years old) giving a sense of inconsistency. The most shocking thing for me is the success of vanilla servers both official and unofficial. There's a nostalgia for the old formula no expansion, after WOTLK, managed to deliver and old (and new) fans are still craving for! The fact people is willing to move from a pirate server to another, from the current WOW to Classic means people is willing to recreate a new avatar and move forward to new adventures. For sure WOW 2 is an enormous endeavour and I don't think current Blizzard is capable of such things anymore. Just look at what is doing right now: HOTS is a closed project, Overwatch 2 is regressing into Overwatch 1, Diablo IV hasn't been the success it should have been and Path of Exile 2 is coming to deliver the death blow, Star Craft is an abbandoned franchise, Warcraft 3 reforged has been a froud... I think they had a chance with Classsic WOW. They could have made a graphic lifting, they could have remade classes from scratch, even create new classes and specks, they could have tried new interfaces and quality of life changes... If they had done that, they could have trained a new studio to work on this project, they could have gathered data on what new and old audiences like about Vanilla WOW, all in preparation to eventually make WOW 2, but they didn't do anything of that. They used this card to make a quick buck, milk some money and forget about it. I guess they'll milk WOW till they can and they'll let it sink soon after.
It's because Blizzard is cheap and they know their customers are cheap. Unreal Engine 5 has some incredible potential, yet a "WoW 2" would likely require too many people to update their PC's, and Blizzard is running strong on those N64 graphics still...
The real reason is : Blizzard is a PEAK performance when they stole ideas from other MMO (always has been), but since 2008+ they are under constant pressure from share-holders, They couldn't handle a simple Classic server like Season of Discovery, they just keep on recycling an old game from 2004 again and again (SoM, Classic Anniversary), don't get me wrong i love World of Warcraft and everything it stood for, but now its just a soulless cash-grab made by employees that don't believed themselves in the project. Its just sad, they where KINGS.
My wish is just new vanilla expansions. Dont need wow 2 per se
Because they are lazy and cheap. Why do 2.0 when they can re-hash "Classic" again and again and again and Blizz defenders like you will promote it. There you go - saved you 4mins.
@@ParisAvenue2005 why so salty?
If they make a new wow it would end the old wow
Maybe in 10 years. Make a wow 2
I'd love a successor, but blizzard has grossly lost touch with the original psychology of WoW and it's community of guilds.
Same reason why Star Citizen will never be released. Game already has a decent amount of "whales" to milk, regardless of what new monetization will be added on top of already existing one. So it is not profitable for Blizz at all. That is why you dont see many new players in WoW. Cuz this game is not for them. Potential new players (with no bias against or for the game or nostalgia factor) sees WoW as an F2P & hghly P2W game that is highly overhyped, overpriced & very outdated (visually, technically & gameplay wise). Other games (and other mmorpgs) do offer way better value. If you did not grew up with old Warcraft RTS games or WoW - there is really nothing here for you. That is why WoW is kinda stagnating & will most likely never change itself & its business model.
There is no point in creating wow 2, as in, engine swap. Their internal engine is too well optimized for the team that's working and trained on it. Wow 2 is nothing more than an expensive pipe dream that doesn't even make sense to risk development on.
They released a bunch of expansions that didn’t live up to the original so starting all over would be better.
Title misleading, WoW 2.0 was burning crusade. Just drop the .0, 2.0 implys a patch or expansion.
I think you understand it wrong, theoretically you are right but the idea of wow 2 can be understood in different theories. Either a completely new game which has little to do with the predecessor and this is WoW 2, or a revised version of the current game (graphics, engine and more) this would be a 2.0.
they're too busy making 100 dollars mounts
Why would you spend hundreds of millions of dollars and take a chance on making an amazing game when people are happy buying that 100 dollar skin you generated for free in an instant with an AI assistant?
