Hi … just wanted to ask if you have tried Lotus Shikhar Tamenuri Fountain Pen… is the lacquer finish worth the cost.

I have Lamy Gold EF nib, and it is as wide as their Lamy M steel nib.

My Esterbrook Lilac in M was also a lot finer than I expected. I think “more precise” is a great way to describe the difference between a Jowo nib from Esterbrook vs other brands. I really enjoyed this video. It’s a great way to see all of the many options available for fountain pen users and that’s before we even start talking about custom grinds.

Very first pen? I'd keep it, and just put it aside. My list: Keep: using and enjoying Keep: not using (various reasons) but have some sort of sentimental value - first pen, gift from a love one, memento from a trip, etc. - I would probably store these in a different location from the ones actively being used, so I don't keep considering them, only to keep not choosing them for use. Everything else is subject to leaving my collection, and I hope they find a nice home with someone who will appreciate them.

The wingsung 630 has a 12.5 - 13.2 grip section thats really chonkey.Leonardo Momento Magico at its thickest part has a 10.8 12mm grip. Admok m800 has a 10.5-11.7mm grip. Narwal original 9.7 - 11.5. Pilot 912 10.5-11.5. Litterati desk penwhich is 204mm long is 11.6-12.7mm ... those are my chonkiest gripped pens I hope that helps :)

I probably should have done that, too! XD I too, cannot just keep 10 pens. And If I were hypothetical, I would not follow Drew's 10 categories of pens hahaha!

Is the purple inked with a red or orange ink? Those can cause barnacles

It's the ink! I have only had nightmare experiences with Rose Gold Antiqua. Wait till you try to clean it out! I will never put that in a pen again! Lovely colour though.
