On the exit of t1, you were still in 4th gear so were much slower accelerating than normal there so would think that guy was genuinely surprised you weren't accelerating at the same speed as him. Would class that as an honest mistake. But as you said it worked out for the best by ending up p5 after lap 1 hahaha. Shame about the last lap but you get that sometimes.

game Audio is very high compared to Voice fella. Maybe there's some audio levelling software that can help see the gains on the game and voice

Good race, it is very boring from a driving perspective when there is no battles going on but still a good way to learn, as it's like hot lapping. Do you play Assetto Corsa? If not may want to try it, there's very limited online racing but hotlapping Nords is great. All i do on it haha

Good race, Kyle. Tricky track in SRX. I think you've gotta chill on flaming the guy immediately for the incident before you watch the replay, especially when it was either a racing incident (my thought) or your fault (others thoughts). Fun watch.

Editor's note: three weeks after the build, iRacing released the "stock" version of micro sprint cars. That car has about 120 HP. Micro sprint cars that I presented in this video are now the more powerful "outlaw" version with 160 HP.

Nice race. This has been the dodgiest feeling track in this car during practice - feels like I'm on the edge of losing it every second corner. Not looking forward to racing it.

I had a slow down that did that too, kept adding time even though I was on a straight. Maybe they changed how it works now to encourage you to get rid of it sooner?

I wouldn't be worried about those spins, iRacing's tyre model is non existent pretty much. The car didn't even hook the curb or get unsettled, once those tyres let go it goes from 100% grip to 0%

I don't like how the overlays recolored the C license to look like a D license

iRacing team need to look into the points system, getting hit into and receiving a 4x by an idiot. Could be the end of a race in some scenarios.

"Ha can't believe that guy wrecked before the green!" Immediately gets wheel damage in turn 1 lol

Note - a patch came out a couple days after this that improved wet weather spray, brighter rain lights punching through the spray, and adding raindrops to windshield for lighter rainfall (was missing during qualifying here).

First race I tried at this track was in heavy rain with little in the way of practice.. It went horrifically lol. Seems like it'd be fun if I eventually figure it out though.

Have you tried putting everything too low for graphics, Foliage/grass can impact performance, particles, MSAA can also reduce a good amount of performance. The game may look bad overall but then you may be able to unlock the 60fps limit, i'd unlock the 60fps limit anyways, 3440x1440 is a high res for a 2070. CPU could be limiting factor also, it's demanding only on a couple of CPU cores so CPU benefit from faster core speeds.

If you choose a location and date that has expected temperatures near the middle of the range of 65 to 90 F, you should see much more variation as time passes. Unfortunately the pre-Tempest air temp restrictions are still needed, so some compromise had to happen.
