Stihl 029 Chainsaw cleanup and fix. It would not shut off.
We have had this chainsaw for decades and we love it. But it would not shut off the last time we used it. Came down to neglect. But we clean it out and give it a tune up.
No more peeing gas on you as well.

My son Corbin and I wanted to revitalize our go-kart that I have had since I was 16 years old. It was my first engine that i rebuilt. This thing was a bit rough and needed to be upgraded. Now it has a 6.5 hp engine and disk brakes. You never know what is next. I am thinking Turbo. :) Stay tuned to find out. #gokart #gocart #fabrication #welding
1" Carb space Will it help 1989 Grand Wagoneer 360

We see it all the time on Roadkill Garage or Engine Masters. Spaces increase plenum and helps with performance. We will see when we put a 1" spacer on our 1989 Grand Wagoneer. I can't feel much in the old Butt Dyno but the start up and throttle response is better. Check out how easy it was. We got back from a trip to Hatteras Island. AWESOME trip. I stopped counting at 20 Sharks from the surf. Drum, mullet, rays, blow toads, etc. So much action. I had to get a new rod first but it was so worth it. Can't wait to go back. #fishing #rod #saltwater #saltlife

Just bought one. I have to go into my phone and connect it each time I get into my Tacoma?
good to go now!!!!
Thanks, my friend,I appreciate it.🙏🏻
No problem. i have found that this system has a few quarks but all in all, not a bad product. Make sure you set the parking setting. Mine got reset once I missed who bumped my front end in a parking lot. Good luck
@5LakesGarage Thanks, I appreciate it.
It was good to have young Corbin in the shop!!!!
it was amazing.
I bought a bluetooth transmitter with a built-in microphone on Aliexpress. Installed it from below on the central console, glued it with double-sided tape between the airbag indicator and the cigarette lighter. I made a small hole in the plastic and put the wire inside. The aux connected with the adapter like you did. I had to make an usb connector behind the radio to power it up. Works good, sounds good, even looks good (it has lights). I love the superfast automatic connection with my phone. And it cost me 10$
Nice. so many ways to make it happen. it sounds like it was a clean install. I would love to use the one in the Mazda as soon as I put the trans back together. :)
very nice cutting board my friend im a new subscriber of yours and im a woodturner but i just got a table saw for christmas and i wanna make cutting boards, hope u r doing well my friend! take care of yourself ok? just remember, God loves u, God bless. Chris
you are going to enjoy making cutting boards. We have some turning videos and will be more. Also check out some of our new tools. My buddy Jerry is a bad influence on my wallet. Keep getting after it and we hope that some of our content will help you along the way.
LS for sure who needs gas mileage..lol
i thought about an LS first. You just can't beat them.
Guys on Roadworthy rescues are doing same mod right now!
NICE. love that show. Just too bad motortrend canceled all of them
The plastic hefty bag is more durable than one would think put funnels on the ones I made tuned them to D4 G4 makes good train sound
Nice. I have an onboard air on my truck. was thinking of rigging something up. Was thinking of some funnels. Thanks.
How long does it record if only leave it on the trigger setting? Is it just whatever u have your loop settings for 1/3/5 minute and then it turns back off until the next trigger?
it should record to what ever you have it set too. but i will have to look at it a bit closer. It would be good to know.
@ I tried to test it myself. I normally have it on for 5m loop recordings. But when truck was off I tried to shake truck like it got hit and it came on but looks like only stayed on for 1 minute. So I wish was able to change that to diffrent time lengths but there is no settings for that anywere
I regret buying this pressure washer. I should have just gone electric!
Sorry to hear that. This one has been OK for us. I do wish it was a bit bigger. We used it the other day and besides it being 40 degrees it was fine. :) Good luck
I'm more interested in the Jeep! I have an 89 GW....
We have an 89 GW as well. I just put on an 1 inch spacer. The throttle response seemed to be better but did not feel any more power in the butt dyno. I think I have been watching Roadkill for too long. :)
I like this , I'm thinking about trying the bass sounding one . I make flutes out of bamboo and since pvc is cheap I might add sound holes to see if I can get some cool notes . It would sound like a saxophone I'll bet .
That is a great idea. Let us know how it goes. My son plays the tuba and trumbone. Will see if he can make a tune. Good luck.
Great tips! Thank you for sharing and reminding people that you need to clean your rods, especially after salt water fishing! I at least would give it a good rinse after each time.
Thanks for the comment. I love this platform to exchange information both ways. And in this case we have way too much $$ tied up with this gear to let it sit and not get used cause of lack of maintenance. My neighbor was out there again a few days ago and picked up a few drums. One of them was 26" long. if only I was out there with him.
@@5LakesGarage Sounds like fun and good eating
Just as a parachute rigger must jump with the first parachute they pack, he should put his master welding skills to the test in a similar way.
Oh he will be the first to test it out. :) The way it should be. I inspected most of them and they look like they will hold. Not good enough to call it master but not bad for a little guy. But now we needed to order some more parts.
Would you please tell your adorable kiddo that, much like humans, rarely do two horses look exactly the same. Therefore, those horses are SO MUCH MORE realistic! 🖤💜 Ps, may I come play too?
I love the way this board is turning out. Still not done. Ray is just so good. I love it.
awesome board!!!!!
thanks man.
If the engine has not run for a while automatically replace impeller..to be safe.
That is a really good point. We swapped it out shortly after. th-cam.com/video/geyxxGE2DSE/w-d-xo.html

Thanks for the sub. I plan on getting out to the shop soon. It is amazing how fast TH-cam will stop showing you love when you take a little time off. :)
Awesome man 🎉
Thank we try to have fun. :)
Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to your future videos
more videos coming. just need to get out to the shop. Thanks for the support.
They make two different motors for that van. 3.5VTech. And they also make a 3.5 i VTech. The first kit with the blue gaskets. What's for the regular VTEC.
Thanks for letting us know. I thought that it was a bit crazy that it was SO far off. Thanks again.
Let me ask you The new one dosent have the slip joint. So if you hadn’t removed the steering box could you install the shaft? The one I bought is the same

It’s a very nice thing you’re doing, but oak is not a good choice for a cutting board. The grain is rough open and porous so it can allow food and raw juices to get caught down in the grain and transfer to other food. Maybe consider some nice small frames people can use for photos of family who served, or small floating shelves, name plates, etc.
I have been on still foggy water. It was so surreal and eerie. It was overcast on salt water at dawn.
it was freaky. I was using google maps to get to the other side of the lake. And shortly after i got to where I was going. I had another boat Hauling butt and came within about 40 feet of me before he turned away. I had a few choice words at the time.
@ Wow! That would be unnerving. A lot of people have to respect for nature or other people on the water.
Looking good. Thanks for the video
thanks man. We try to help
Young people.lol
He is still learning. :) It was a lot of giggling. The install video is in editing and will be out soon along with the Uwharrie trip. I have some cleaning to do.
Mine doesn't go up straight/the corner above the door lock button leaves a slight gap.
interesting. I will have to relook at it to see if the rail can be adjusted. Knowing ford they put some sort of fastener that can't be removed. Has that window ever been replaced? seem odd that it would have a gap.
A Man of skill and Creativity. Brilliant!!! Thank you for showing and explaining the details. “Watch one, do one then teach one.” You did it perfectly !
thanks. this thing came in handy a few times already. Now go and build one. ;) Thanks for the comments.
The brand should be mirrored. If you burn in the cutting board with that brand the logo will be backwards.
Also the best place to brand a cutting board is centered on the back side unless it's only going to be used as a show piece. Leave the working face for the work. If it will be a show piece then bottom right corner marking the end of the workpiece like the end of a page in a book.
When i read your first comment. I ran out to the shop and tried it out. it worked out great and it was correct. You had me scared for a second. I might put it dead center of one side and the lower right on the other. So they can either display it or use. I hope someone there will like the symbolism of using wood from the post grounds. Thanks for the help
Corners that way as the cutting board is used you don't damage the logo is my 2¢
good ca.. I was thinking of putting it in the center on one side and the lower right hand corner on the other. Then leave it up to the user on which side they want to use it or display it. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you so much! This is why youtube is invaluable. People helping others with their knowledge. This really helped. Im fixing two of my kids bikes right now which are just like this one and doing this exact thing. The info about the direction the bolts and washers screw is critical,, in past I stripped some pedals not knowing one side was different!
We are happy to help. Some main reasons why we do the channel. To help others, to help my kids or grandkids if I am not around. Good luck on your repairs.

Hi I have a 2007gti. Do you have to drain the gas tank when you change the fuel pump? Changed the fuel pump and now when you connect the key it sprays gas from the quick connect so changed the quick connect from the high pressure line and that's not it either. Do you have to vent the tank in any way to relieve pressure or any clue as to what's going on?
Nice video. Detailed compared to others I had watched
Thanks for the comment. We try to help where we can. We will be getting the Wag back in the shop soon for some more mods. But I am stuck in the wood working shop. Good luck with your trans.
I've got a wall mounted vac I found but no plumbing or hoses, is there a vac specialist online?
i just through stuff together and made it work. you can go high end or work to make it cheap. But cheap is relative. some of the pieces add up Quick.
Ok brother, I’m fighting the same exact issue. Recently changed bearings and seals on my ‘76 CJ-5 AMC 20 and the bearing lasted a month or two. Destroyed. Obviously, too much preload crushing the bearing. Soooo, what’s your follow-up? How has yours been with the race .020-.030 proud of the face?
i am not sure if it was the preload or that it was a defect. I have had mixed responses on the cause. I have never seen one get do destroyed. i have put a few miles on it since I swapped it out this last time. I feel I need to pull it apart again to see how it is doing. If this one jacks up then maybe it was the preload.
@@5LakesGarage At this point, my new bearing retainer looks like a bearing race itself. Nowhere close to the square profile it should have. When I assembled it less than 100 miles ago, freeplay felt ok. So now the question is, did you get more freeplay by resurfacing the shouldered collar that the axle race sits flush against, or did you add a shim to the backing plate? I got on some forum with an “expert” who stated that only the driver’s side uses shims, and the diff has a block that both axles ride against.
Before i replaced them the first time. I went to youtube of course and watched multiple channels. as well as forum. I did not run across that the driver side needed shims. I would think it would depend on the axle. Each one is different. Close but different. As long as the preload checks out. in my case it was about .020. I will investigate more and if I need to, update the video on what I find.
@@5LakesGarage So here’s where I am currently. My aftermarket one-piece axles of unknown origin have worked for decades. They use taper roller bearings, not the captive one-piece bearings. I believe the Crown kit I bought had a shouldered race spacer that was far too narrow. When I pull both axles, my races sit recessed into the axle housing flange about 1/16”. That incorrect replacement race spacer would explain why the same Timken bearing set would fail. So I ordered another Omix seal/spacer/bearing/retainer kit, and it’s race spacer is the correct width. So all that internet crap about the bearing needing to sit .020-.080 proud does not apply to my ‘76 CJ-5.
Hi Mr Mike I like your video and this is makai
Sup buddy. I am almost done with the dust collections system. See you next monday.
