i created a Discord server for anyone who has questions or advices to share. learning with others, and exchanging ideas with people who know more than i do might motivate to study music theory and sheet music and could be enriching discord.com/invite/Xd5HwnKPrg i forgot to mention that I bought a much better piano starting from the second month because the number of keys was very limited on the...

finally learned the hard part of fur elise
Why tf did you try such difficult pieces when you can clearly not play them yet you are not diffeent than other people just do it the slow right way play bach inventions and sinfonias, than waltz in a minor etc you are clearly not ready for a single of the pieces in this video
From my point of view, it's not about the time. It's not about how 12 months of self practice can make him play all those hard pieces. It's about how he's consistent, and put commitment into his practices. When you make a decision when you're above 18+ years old, usually you really put your mind into it. So great job!!
wtf i played for 2 and a half year and i cant even play ocean😭
Dude i literally had the same journey as you of self learning piano 😮
And still don't know how to read music sheets 😭🙏
Tbh it’s really impressive how you’ve managed to play some of the hardest piano pieces after for learning for just a year, But one piece of advice (no hate tho just actual genuine advice): being able to hit all the notes doesn’t mean you can play the piece, the most important part of playing the piece is the technique you have which creates the atmosphere and stuff, so you should work on your technique before trying harder pieces because your technique kinda (no hate tho I’m just being genuine, pls don’t hate me for this 🙃) needs a bit of work Also some probably wouldn’t have spotted your flaws in technique because fast pieces tends to cover up for the flaws in technique but people who play the piano would notice But all in all it’s mad impressive how you’ve made this much progress in just a year tho fr
You didn’t have to justify yourself that much because your advices are just common sense, and I completely agree with you on that. I didn’t have any teacher or anyone close to me in the field I just wanted to have fun and wasn’t aiming to improve in a traditional way, haha. I’m not a professional, and I’m not trying to achieve some absolute form of perfection. The perfection I aim for is the one that satisfies me. To me, you never really finish learning a piece. As long as it sounds good to my ears and I enjoy making it flow better, that’s all that matters. I understand the value of traditional approaches, but my goal is simply to enjoy the process in my own way. And that’s what instruments were created for in my opinion, to fulfill a sense of satisfaction and bring peace, not to create frustration from an endless pursuit of perfection like it’s often taught today. My Fantaisie-Impromptu sounds much better today, but I only refine it for the joy it brings me, not because I feel the need to prove anything to anyone. Thank you for taking the time to give advice to a random player, sorry for the long message btw
@ that’s really cool, total respect for learning for fun and to enjoy the process👍🏻, and you’re totally right about the traditional method of often getting frustrated from pursuing perfection in every piece because I sometimes feel that too 🫠, keep up the good work
this feels so wrong
can you share the resources
i used to play from ages 6 to 13 and you got better than me in 2 months LMAOO
any tips??? I literally just started today lol. I really want to improve
I've been practicing piano for a long time now, and I've been progressing very slowly. You have no idea how much this simple video inspires me and fills me with motivation... Keep going, don't stop, devastate the world of classical music, it's beautiful. Improve every day, you will be rewarded.
you did a great job learning by yourself, but as someone who has been playing with teachers for 9 years, you have a lot of wrong techniques. you have talent and with some help it will be perfect
I'm sorry it was day 12 and you could use both your hands 😭 that is what sounds sooo hard to me
lol no fr. i just started today. i can’t imagine. i feel so clumsy
heyy, ur progress is rlly good!! little piece of advice tho: i honestly think u should work on technique more than fast-paced show-off songs bcs from what im hearing ur technique is a quite lackluster for most of them rn and anyone with piano experience can tell😅 but hey this is already amazing good job!
Better make quality before quantity !
You are skipping so many fundamentals, start with an easier piece like twinkle twinkle or minuet in g, practice scales and arpeggios slowly. Skipping to advanced pieces so fast like Fantasie Impromptu and spending time practicing them while they're so far above your level will hurt you in the long run. It's much better to build strong foundations and slowly work your way up
this is absolutely crazy
Ain't no way i got a simply piano ad before the video (it's playing rn while i'm typing this)
mfs does it better than me that already played for 2 years😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
how do you have the light when you click one note pls give tutorial PLSSSS
What's the name of your piano?
Bro let go of you're ego and learn easier pieces, you are not at that level yet. Plus you risk injuries by being tense.
28:39 itft intro?
that's crazy, I'm almost a decade into piano and I think ur better then me xD
I could play wet hands (just memorizing the song took like a month for me) after 1 year I think and Für Elise after 2,5 I think I did something wrong. You were further than me after 3 months than me after about 5years
28:18 why he is doing almost stacatto on winter wind??
I'm so proud of you!! you advance very quickly and play so nicely
awesome!!!
So you memorize the notes? Don't you need sheet to read music
learning small sections of a piece (and not even to the right tempo) and showing them off instead of actually learning them fully is a joke, being able to play the first 30 seconds of something isn't impressive. Try maybe building up and learning from beginner-intermediate-advanced songs instead of just looking up 'hardest etudes and piano compositions' on google
So real
Bro is playing better than me and I've been playing since 14 years💀
Bro is a cuber!!!🎉
I got my first piano when I was 12 I'm 14 now and I can hardly play with two hands😭
SO IT IS POSSIBLE!!!!
Well done. You did very well. I would suggest that you start learning to read the sheet music, it will really help you learn the pieces faster (you already know that😂) And try to learn some easier pieces that are more on your level of difficulty (a lot of the pieces you played are on the advanced level to super advanced) because that way you can learn to master those pieces and then gradually make the pieces harder. You play beautifully and keep on working hard!
this is really good! One advice though: try to play less fast. Then you could really try to get the method better, and even if it’s not as fast as the normal music, it will be just as good (like for example: fantasie impromptue: you play really fast and we hear you losing control and coordination of your fingers due to the speed). ps: i was like that too as a beginner, it’s been 12 years now, and I still do it sometimes, common mistake.
You can't play fur elise after 12 days. You need to learn the nodes and learn the basics. maybe the timeline is since he bought the piano and not since he started
Well you will never know what this comment was before the edit
@@the-dirt-god9280 I had sheet music from the beginning, that doesn't mean i know how to read it
Reading sheet music is apart of learning how is that lying😭🤦♀️
Sorry
@@randomplaypiano ok ok sorry
@@randomplaypiano I am like you so yeah I know how to read sheet music but I play without them
I started learning the same way you did. I can’t read sheet music but I do have to say learning pieces that are so far out of your league and just being able to sort of play 10 pieces versus being able to successfully play 3-4 pieces is not good man. Just because it halts your learning and skillset. It’s like trying to only shoot deep 3 point shots in basketball but you can’t make a layup or dribble the ball. I’m just saying focus on playing pieces smoothly consistently and effortlessly versus fumbling through difficult pieces just because. It’ll do you much better personally
Yo:Es cubero
i cant comprehend how he can use both hands at day 12,
You buyed a new keyboard you’re fucking kidding me😂
'Everyone can play piano, but not everyone can touch people with their playing' 💀
You just earned a sub I also just got a electric piano and I found your vid I'm struggling to know what to do first and this helped me follow a guide thanks.❤
Why is bro goated at month three
Moonlight sonata Alr after 9months??!!! Nah it’s been 8years I’m doing piano and this is still my goal to be able to do and I’m still not able to
As someone who played Clair de lune in a piano competition, I can tell that the rhythm isn’t exactly that.. anyway but it seems weird how he learned to play fantaisie interrompue in 7months…
How did you learn?
what pianos did u use?
I assumed that the process was kind of slow, so I jumped to month 6, and... tf?
