O'Sullivan Family Life 60's 70's and 80's Crookhaven, West Cork.
This is the 3rd in the series of vintage Super 8's of Village life. I put this one mostly for the O'Sullivan cousins, as in Billy's words, who'd be interested in this stuff!!! They are lovely, a final thanks to the 2 people who made this mammoth library of memories possible, Tim Kingston and Patrick Mulcrone.

Billy O'Sullivan from O'Sullivan's Bar Crookhaven received a Super 8 Camera from Tim Kingston circa 1967-68. He documented a mixture of village life on this 1 hour and 20 minutes reel. In no particular order there are fantastic videos of the great storm of 71, the village rescuing Newman's Boat across the fields by Galleycove. Billy O'Sullivan (O'Sullivan's Bar Crookhaven) gave this talk about life in the village of Crookhaven on the 13th of February 2024. Catherine & I had the great pleasure of Billy's company on the "Pont Aven" in September, returning from Brittany. he is some character.
Ah what a wonderful raconteur Billy is.....great stories some of those mentioned brought back memories.
