Cultural Stewardship: The responsibility to care for and honor flamenco as a cultural tradition, while embracing diverse artistic lenses and contemporary developments.

Community Stewardship: The responsibility to care for and nurture our community and to ensure equal access to resources so all may fully participate.

FLOR's founding-director, Lindsey Bourassa, is a flamenco dancer, choreographer and teacher. She has trained, performed and taught in both the US and Spain in collaboration with nationally and internationally recognized flamenco artists. Lindsey received her Master of Flamencology Degree from ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain) in 2019 and her Certificate of Professionalization in Flamenco Arts at El Centro de Arte y Flamenco de Sevilla (Spain) in 2012.
