Although I only knew Jim a short time, I felt his true love and warm spirit the first time I met him. I enjoyed his sermons, as they always brought the word with meaning and purpose, I truly enjoyed them all! I enjoyed our Men's prayer breakfasts, when I was there. He didn't like his grits runny! First thing Tom and Jim asked the waitress was, how do the grits look this morning! My late Father in Law, Tom Coe and his wife, Sharyn adored him, as well they should have, just being such the great Pastor he was, a good friend to them and to his daughters and their husbands, as well as his step son and daughter, and their families. We truly loved him and we all will miss him greatly. To Jim's family; my wife Cindy and I would like to send our most sincere condolences to you and your families, and we wish you comfort and peace. May God Bless Jim Fant!
