Staging the Olympics is not easy, the TEN POINT SIX BILLION not only went to the venues....There was feeding the 68 thousand athletes and their individual crew. Then the Olympic village...set a bar .. Security that was dished by many but there was not one indecent . An incredible piece of music, so much emotion, such epicness, I felt shivers of excitement, awe and pride when this played during the opening ceremony.
Danny Boyle surpassed himself with the opening ceremony and the music was blazingly good. Makes the hairs on the back of my neck go up every single time I watch the ceremony and especially the creation of the ring and the five ring sequence. Oh and the flame .. oh the flame .. wonderful.
I completely forgot that Danny Boyle directed the Opening Ceremony, he truly is a Genius when it comes to directing.
Who'd have thunk Great Britain could be Great again. 2012: The year we realised our tiny island is still pretty awesome (and we've started winning again at the sports we invented).
