People need to start bulk loading. It is way cheaper and it is easy to do. I pay around 5 bucks a roll for Rollei Retro or Ilford FP4+ B&W film. Developing your own is also a way to save lots of money. I do everything myself. All the way to my own custom framing for the pieces I sell. It costs me around 150.00 in materials for everything, including museum-quality archival materials. I will shoot film until I have no choice. It is so much more pleasureable for me and the outcome is more pleasing, especially when printed and framed.

And the f2 was probabaly cheaper and not a rangefinder. I get that Leicas are made by hand and justfies that price.But I am not a rangefinder guy. I like the view finder over the lens.

If you take inflation into consideration, film isn’t that far off from how it was 10-15 years ago….it still hurts but it definitely makes me feel a bit better about it 😅

But the camera is older than I am and runs on film not digital so good luck
