Its too weak, the kid doesnt even know the basics, he just memorized the steps. I mean its not the kids fault. Sport karate sucks. Sport karate will never get you to the core of karate. You know at this rate it would be better to train at home than to join a sports karate academy, training at home from youtube is much better. Im not joking.
