Gago means dumbass, someone who is both dumb and an asshole. Tarantado is from the root word Taranta, which means panic. So a tarantado is someone who becomes completely useless, freaks out and makes things even worse at the first sign of trouble. But that's just being nitpicky. Basically either can be freely used as an insult for being an idiot... 😅😅😅
