Hi there, thanks for your comment! To get the optics right in high-wrap lenses it take more time and effort for us to make, and cost us more because we use the best quality lenses that we can get. Prices vary depending on your prescription, lens type, lens style, and coatings. Call us if you have any questions!

@@dashhill443 I gave up. Julbo usa contacted me but by this time i had repaired them myself. I wound some closed coil springs from .020 orthodontic wire (purchased from a dental lab) of the appropriate inside diameter, crazy glue at each end and cover the entire arm with heat shrink tubing

Hi! Unfortunately, no brand of lenses is impervious to heat damage. Polycarbonate lenses tend to have a better chance of surviving a day in the heat though.

Oh no! The temperature in your bag must have gotten to the point where the lens crazed. I would suggest taking the glasses back to have the lenses remade if possible!

@@sportsoptical5746 Hey thanks man for enlightening me about that. I actually bought the version with the embossed Smith logotype and was concerned that I might have somehow bought a fake one. Along with your clarifications I also recently got a reply from the companys CS that they no longer use the S logo for all their latest products. I do find the old logo though looks cool. The AGX has slightly more color contrast than the American Grey. If you like colors like yellow, red and purple to pop then go with the AGX. If you want similar colors to what you see without glasses, go with the American Grey. The American grey also seems very slightly darker. If you're not a fan of polarized then don't get it, but they can be useful for driving because they cut glair off of glass.

@sportsoptical5746 Thank you for your detailed answer. I'm a big Maui Jim fan and only have had polarized sunglasses in the last 10 years. The only reason I'm considering non-polar lenses is a few sunglass review yt channel recently pointed out that this was a big mistake and for driving they recommend non-polarized lenses instead. They never actually convinced me, I love my Maui Jims and other polarized lenses so really don't understand why some opticians suggested this.

Hi Jon, unfortunately we aren't making lenses for this frame as of this moment. Photochromic lenses weren't available in this frame due to the available prescription lens blank sizes (couldn't get large enough).

I watched the video, and you're right! Her glasses do look like P3s!

Our lenses are ANZI Z87+ safety rated. They actually far exceed ANZI rating, but that is what we have had them tested for. The Randolph frame is not technically ANZI rated so the glasses as whole cannot be, even with our Rx lenses in there. However, we do use the same quality of lenses in our safety rated glasses as we do in these Randolphs. We have a TON of round glasses in our shop - and we're located just off the 58th Ave and I-25 exit or in Boulder on University Hill. Yes, we can make this in prescription. The large and high wrapped lens block a lot of wind, would be good for motorcycling! Hi Harrison, I haven't heard of anyone who's had trouble with the temples breaking the seal.

The pair in the video are the Bright Chrome finish with American Gray lenses, but look very similar to the Satin Silver with Coastal Gray lenses.
