Nevada began as a Republican State, but today the aganda of the then Republicans is fully Democrat. Democrats would and do support the rights and Freedom of the oppressed. Its not a difficult subject to understand with clarity. .

Sam Houston was not at the battle. He was off trying to form the Texas army that would defeat Santa Anna a month later.
Another interesting story as usual.
Sounds like a five year old learning to read. Chronic.
And you only heard about one, what a trip that it's not mentioned much huh. Thanks for your research
indeed it is
Not true the cowboy hat is not Mexican or Spanish. The sombrero is Spanish and the slouch derby bowlers and Stetson were American. No need to even mention Mexicans they added nothing to the attire. Americans have Spanish influence but their whole outfit was America it had other influences
Couldn't agree more
Sarah was one heck of a woman wasn't she.
She was and she did in her capacity whatever was possible
I can't help but feel this narrator is running along side my taxi trying to tell me all this before I get out reach.....
Yoo this is gnarly! Are you Jim? I know your voice from highschool!
How'd you find it..
Wow they got married on my birthday (of course many years before but that's pretty cool). sounds like he was a good writer.

Do you have any information on the men that worked for Charles Goodnight? My grandfather was born in 1889 and graduated 1911 from Texas A&M. When to work for Charles Goodnight between 1911 and 1918 but joined the Army to serve in France in 1918. My understanding from family was that he stayed friends with Charles Goodnight until his death in 1929. After World War 1 he was hired by Motley County Judge Glenn to run the new AAA in Motley County. Judge Glenn actually hired him so he would marry one of his daughters. My grandmother was Carolyn Glenn or Callie was her nick name that she hated. Would love to know if you have any info?
i'll read something and will surely let you know. Any how grandmother rightly hated callie...
She was a dear friend of mine, stubborn as hell an as lethal to boot...She wouldn't listen to anyone about earp her intentions were just....😢 I do miss her so, but on another note... I will say tho I have an always will love doc... y'all really don't have to believe this, I just feel it an dream it....!

Interesting story of a family, beautiful house
History living in that house...time gone but memories stays
Love the old western movies, actually they don't make enough western movies in this day and age do they. Just watched The Good, the Bad & the Ugly yesterday which hadn't seen in yrs.
its sad. i wish a revival of classic westerns should happen
This man was a very distant Uncle of mine. I think it was Uncle but I know 100% sure that we were related. Unfortunately the only famous person in my family was a man of this caliber... It's sad to say that the Olinger family is more proud of the man that killed him then the man that he was lol
Thats sad and true
the guy in the thumb is James Kirker though
Another great story, you have such a wonderful voice that you don't need any music much in the background. Think that you've finally got it right. Thank you for your research.
Thank you, very much appreciated.
I hope you liked it
@@AmericanOldWestTales you did great, nice music
I am a McCoy and I've never seen this first picture before. I don't know who those people are.
Finding relevant pictures from old west is not easy at all , so editor did what he could have done .
Very good but the music can do without, to many channels use this crappy music for animal rescue videos. Please get rid of it.
will do away in next video. Thanks for mentioning'
@@AmericanOldWestTales you are very welcome, thanks for listening
11:53 First time I've heard that version. Jacob Waltz died in his bed, he didn't have sacks of gold on him, just a few samples of high grade ore in a box under his bed. People started looking for his mine years before he died, he used to leave town for long periods of time only to return with high grade gold ore, people started following him when he would leave but the old coot was as crafty as a fox and would always give them the slip. On his death bed, he told this woman he knew (think her name was Reineheart Patrash or something akin to that) where his mine was, she failed to locate it so she made maps to the mine based on his directions which she sold to whould be treasure hunters. It should be mentioned that in the story, he killed two mexicans to lay claim to that mine then he killed his own nephew to keep its location secret. All three men are supposedly buried at the mine. Who knows, personally i think its all bs and ole Jacob Waltz was just stealing ore from the Bulldog mine.
You are well versed in the history
"Jesse James and the lost duchman" Uh... I'm confused, what do you mean by "the lost duchman"? There's "the Lost Dutchman's mine" as in the Dutchman's mine is lost as in no one knows where it is, where as the person, Jacob Waltz, is just refered to as "the Dutchman" and was never lost.
What a sad part of history
Exactly. What those people would have gone through absolute calamity.
Love the movie based on this named Hamps, pretty interesting part of history for sure.
Your comments were being missed , hope your're doing well..

Its wonderful when other races pickup the mexican culture of being a cowboy?
Mexico, like most of S and Central America, won their Independence from Spain in a long series of Conflicts between 1821 & 1824....Mexico was an Independent Country in '36 when Texas successfully obtained Independence in '36.
What an interesting man, as usual well done
Alright,a story in Alaska my home state. She was something else huh
As usual well done, you're a really great storyteller.
