Great tip about the study plan. I didn't know these things could be bought. Oh, I've failed at so many languages. Russian, Korean, Japanese, Hebrew, Yiddish, Portuguese, Arabic and German sign language. But I've also managed to learn English, French and Spanisch, so I guess I'm not a total failure. :-)

I identify as a third culture kid. My dad and grandma were TCKs as well - my dad grew up in Venezuela and my grandmother in Malta. My dad's British, my mum's from New Zealand, and I was born in England. We moved to the US when I was 6, and I attended 3 different primary/elementary schools before my family settled down for awhile. My parents are in the process of moving back to NZ, but I am choosing to stay in the US for now. My accent changes too - I kind of explain it as a sliding scale between British and American, with a touch of Kiwi. I can pass as either British or American, but my pronunciation is slightly off in both. (I've been told the word "garage" gives me away.) I also love to read, so I just subscribed. 💖

I've got a little over 400 physical books on my TBR. I couldn't even venture to guess how many e-books I have. I probably average reading 50 books a year. So I have PLENTY to keep me busy! Will I stop buying books? Probably not, lol. Those library book sales are too good! Which is where 99% of my books come from. So at least it's not expensive???
@@mariadamore1963 library books sales sounds amazing! And nothing wrong with a big TBR if it makes you happy. It’s nice knowing you have books when you want something to read. I have just been reading progressively less physical books bug still buying lots. If you watch the other videos in the series you’ll see I still buy some but balance them with reading

This isn’t even including the ones I don’t own 😭 but highly recommend a spreadsheet, like a really big to do list and so satisfying seeing the numbers and colours change 🥰
