Design Styles using Vizcom AI
The last few days I was exploring how a generative AI tool can help generate various design styles for a product concept. I used an image from one of my old patents for this and uploaded it in Vizcom together with reference images. This is I think a good way to use AI in product design as it generates a lot of ideas for color combinations, materials, textures and as well little features that could make the design more interesting overall.

Closing The Carbon Loop Promo
มุมมอง 32 หลายเดือนก่อน
In a world where so many products get sold and consumed, it is important we also consider how products are designed in the first place. Can products get reused and disassembled as well? And who is doing that? Reducing CO2, emissions and your company's carbon footprint is not only about reducing the use of materials but perhaps even more about making different choices as company for what happens...
Why ESG is not like other Eco-trends
มุมมอง 22 หลายเดือนก่อน

Bit of background behind the bent-layer printing setup and pending updates to make it work for not only L-shaped products but as well for T-shaped products which require a full 180 degrees rotation of the nozzle to print all layers.
Can Non-Planar 3D Printing Replace Manufacturing?
มุมมอง 152 หลายเดือนก่อน
3D-printing will not yet likely replace traditional manufacturing methods for plastic parts, but if it wants to be slightly competitive, it should at least become much faster than it is currently and it should be able to print as well more complicated shapes we believe. We have been investigating how we can get a little step closer to printing for production, what we have learned along the way ...
