I like one buck, if i need deer meat, I'll take a doe. If its not the buck I'm hunting for that state, I wont shoot. That is what works for me.

I don't what mechanical blades you have used but I have several huge wild boar, elk, so many deer. Hitting bone, busting ribs and never broke one, bent few but very few. I'll stay with my vortex and Easton xx78 aluminum. Sorry, certainly not trying to close the curtain on ya, just giving my experience. If your sticking in the opposite shoulder think I would change my entrance location. Most all my shots are in and out the other side.

I think we need to revamp our seasons and weapons here. I think trad guys should get their own season in archery and should have the first crack at deer, followed by compound guys, and crossbows and muzzleloaders should be a combined season where you can use either one. And of course rifle season last.

Hi Christian, I've probably been using N.A.P Thunderheads longer than your Uncle, L.O.L"S ! I actually used N.A.P Razor-Baks 4&5 before Andy Simo (R.I.P) developed the Thunderhead. Now Andy was a machinist by trade, same as me, the Original Thunderheads were manufactured, by Andy here in the U.S.A (Illinois) but after N.A.P was sold, I noticed packaging that stated "Made In China", and other packaging, "Made in Japan". So since then, I have bought up as much "New Old Stock" that I could,( especially the Pro-Series with the Nickel tip) because from a machinist standpoint, This is Not your Uncles or Mine, Thunderheads !! from "Back In The Day" The Blade Quality & Sharpness is not what it used to be. I remember when Andy, purchased special sharping & honing machines from Germany, because he cared about the Sharpness & Quality of the Blades more than anything, because we all know that an arrow kills by Hemorrhage, and you can never have too sharp of a broadhead. I would recommend sharping them , right out of the box. I wouldn't trust them, and don't let the blades touch anything but air. Even in & out of a foam quiver, 4 times a day, day in and day out, week after week, can dull an edge. I usually put new blades in, half way thru the season, just for peace of mind. I've put a bunch of Thunderheads thru a lot of Big Bucks over the last 47 years, and I will continue to use Thunderheads until the End ! Like Uncle Justin says, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" Great Advice !

The King buck looks just like the Huff buck shot in Indiana USA number one world record typical numbers two behind Milos, King buck is number one to me but i believe Mitch's buck is real it really should be Mitch,King,Huff then Milo them are four monster typicals no matter how you slice it

For rattling to work its not so much about high pressure the buck to doe ratio needs to be 1to1 or 1to2 when you start getting 1to3 and higher theres know need for them to fight or run other bucks off because theres a ton of does to go around
