    I saw a short version, then found this video to watch the whole conversation, and want to share something here. I have come across Human Design system few years ago, and in my Human Design chart, my Incarnation Crosses is the Right Angle Cross of Sphinx 2, and let me quote what's being said about this profile : "Being a Sphinx is somebody that comes into this life and basically they are a light pole at the street crossing. And not only do they go green and yellow and red, they have pointing arrows. And this is what they are all about. Some of the most interesting Sphinxes that i have met are ones that have undefined G centers. They give everybody else direction and they're lost. And they can't understand why they're lost and yet everybody comes to them and finds direction." My whole life is about being lost and not knowing where i am and where to go, and yet i could do this for others. I think it's safe to say that I know sth about being lost. I feel it in my bones. Its written in my DNA. This video has touched my soul. "The path has disappeared, that's how you know you are on the right path." I can't agree more. "Let it find you". Nothing is ever lost. A viewer from France 🇲🇫

    "Lost" [by David Wagoner] Lost Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you Are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here, And you must treat it as a powerful stranger, Must ask permission to know it and be known. The forest breathes. Listen. It answers, I have made this place around you. If you leave it, you may come back again, saying Here. No two trees are the same to Raven. No two branches are the same to Wren. If what a tree or a bush does is lost on you, You are surely lost. Stand still. The forest knows Where you are. You must let it find you. -- David Wagoner (1999)

      Do you know if Bohms attempts to think collectively/wholly in his seminars ever developed in a practical way? From what I’ve listened to online it seems that these group seminars never successfully formed a coherent thinking process. Yet to me the notion that we can think together through suspending our assumptions appears tremendously pragmatic for the very troublesome problems we’re currently facing in the world.

    • @jonathanreams167
      @jonathanreams167 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zieo5864 There are many who took his work and used it. For example there are ten pages in Peter Senge's very influential book The Fifth Discipline where he elaborated and applied Bohm's approach to dialogue. Then Bill Isaac wrote a book building on Bohm's work: www.amazon.co.uk/William-Isaacs-Dialogue-Pioneering-Communicating/dp/B002A7269Y/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2UEXGBEES8D26&keywords=william+isaacs+dialgoue&qid=1641642818&s=books&sprefix=william+isaacs+dialgoue%2Cstripbooks%2C99&sr=1-2-spell

      @@jonathanreams167 interesting, I took at look at each of their summary’s. Both appear to be applied to business, banking and organisations. Personal gain seemed to be the purpose of their adaptations of Bohms work which I’m not criticising but was there progress in the way of collectively thinking about the problem in thought. Bohms seminars were each solely devoted to approaching the problem of thought. He seemed to think that solutions to any of the problems in the external world wouldn’t be found unless the problems in thought/the thinking process were solved. Do you know of any development in this regard?

    • @jonathanreams167
      @jonathanreams167 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@zieo5864 Well, that depends on what is considered progress I guess. Many spiritual traditions could be seen to be focused to some degree on this issue. The main principle would be that thought and or the thinking process are viewed not as the actual essence or source of being, but as a limited mode of it. In Robert Kegan's terms, treating it as an object and not being subject to it. I've written a bit about this, and the main piece where I go into it in more depth is here: integral-review.org/immunity-to-change-revisited-theoretical-foundations-for-awareness-based-practices-for-leadership-development/
