Liquidation of products on the shelf is going to be randomly put in boxes & not every one of the 3000 boxes will get the same things. If you don’t like what you got gift it or donate it. All the negativity about mystery boxes has been ridiculous. If I were Gina, I wouldn’t announce when she plans to do these. She didn’t say every set would have dies. She said you would not get just dies. You got amazing products. Thanks for sharing what you got. Also, for coming back & being honest about the value & that you would or would not use it.

Box was $60, value $250 and 100% worth it. They were liquidating over 200 products, no 2 boxes would be the same. I did buy 2 myself, and of the 2 I only had 1 stamp set that did come with dies, and I did not have the dies. I also received 3 of the same Christmas you did. When buying a mystery box, it is just that a mystery, and expectations have to be that you may or may not like what you receive. Good thing is, there are plenty of Buy Sale Groups out there, including one for Gina K. The stamp/die sets are $50 a set, the stamps without dies are $24 each, and the mini's are $10.95 without dies, $24.95 with. My 2 boxes contained 5 full size stamps no dies, 7 full size with dies, and 6 minis with no dies. So about $520 worth or product. And yes I did get lucky with the foil pack and polyglaze... its a crap shoot on who does and who does not. Not everyone is meant for mystery boxes. My order was placed as soon as I found out the product was available, order confirmed at 9:21am on 12/26, shipped at 12:26pm 12/26. As soon as I received notification from UPS that they had my package, I went onling and upgraded my package to UPS only, rather than the UPS to USPS like normal... Order was due to be delivered today, by paying $8 I received on 1/3 and was very happy.

Yes, I think it’s worth the cost. It’s a mystery box so that means there could be anything in it. You are always taking a chance, when you get one, that there will be things you don’t particularly want.

Yea mine shipped on 12/26 and I didn’t receive any foiling products either. I was excited for the foiling stuff but oh wells. However, I didn’t receive that many Christmas products. I only had 2 and one of them being the mouse. 😊 It really just depends on the box you got.

Thank you so much for the recap as well as the whole series. I learned about Spellbinders last year as I got several doors in a swap and made ordering it a priority. It was so helpful to learn about the different options. I really enjoyed my Spellbinders calendar and your videos helped me to see other options for possibly changing (or adding) next year. Of all the ones you showed, I liked Pink and Main the least. I loved the foilables that they added, but it was too repetitious overall. I was surprised by how much I liked the Taylored Expressions. Specifically, I liked all the tools. If I were to do 2 next year I would probably to Spellbinders due to high quality and the way the different doors can easily be put together; and Taylored Expressions for the cool tools and again the way they put several days together to make the items very functional.

I agree TE was awesome and would buy that. The early bird gift punch was great and their themed weeks were nice. I thought Diamond Press did a nice job and think I would buy that calendar. So many dies in Spellbinders. So so many. Pink & Main with a whole box theme is a bit less for me, even though I liked the foilable things and fun paper.

I'd buy Diamond Press and Spellbinders. They have more things I'm interested in. The Pink and Main stamps and dies were too childish for me. I also don't care for an entire theme month. TE is too expensive. The Spellbinders has a lot of small pieces, but I like their creativity. For Diamond Press' first year, they did a good job.

Thanks for the recap. I wasn’t surprised that Taylored Expressions first place but I was surprised with Pink & Main as second place. I would have put Diamond Press in second place, Pink & Main in third and Spellbinders in fourth. Spellbinders was almost 50% less in cost compared to the costs of TE and P&M. Something to keep in mind. I think Pink & Main needs to do something else besides one theme for the entire month. I would have been mad if I bought last year’s kit and got all winter themed items because I live in California. I do like how TE had a week or two where all of the products could be used together to create a card or tags. I’m definitely watching out for the TE early buy in July. Getting the nice 3 corner punch for an early purchase was very nice. I sure hope we get to buy some (well really all of them)of the tools that were in the calendar. TE products match nicely in my room. Thanks again for taking the time to show us day of the 4 calendars and the wrap up to show all of the calendar items together. Gives a nice visual. I think P&M had the best item for the last day but over all, they’re my last pick. TE and DP tied. I’d use the glitter paste but not sure how often I’d use a long border die. TE wins the overall Best Advent Calendar. Followed by DP, SB and then P&M. I think next year should be TE and DP or TE and a new company. Thanks for taking the time and spending the money to show us all of the calendars. Definitely a huge help in deciding what to buy for next year. Merry Christmas!

Today’s list: #1 suitcase dies from SB #2 TE squeegee #3 Embossing folder from DP and #4 the shaker bits from P&M.

I love the TE bags. Someone posted on the TE page all of the cards she made with the bags. Turned out really cute. They’re a great upcycle item.

Have a delightful holiday. This is a good day of nice things I think.

Almost done! The snowflake stencil goes with Gus on his sled so that’s cute to create a scene. The bird on a branch and the cat with the balloon aren’t themes I have much of. The Make A Wish die is cute but I have a ton of birthday stuff. Pink & Main has been birthday related for the entire calendar with 5 days of sequins. She could have done a theme per week but one theme for the entire calendar isn’t something that I’d pay $90 for. Overall I’m still with the order of TE, DP, SB and the P&M. I look forward to seeing the entire month for each company together. It will give a better perspective on the value of the calendar vs the products received. Oh and the dog’s name is Gus! 😅

Well today is DP, then matching die for the Gus stamp from yesterday and a tie for the sequins. Lots of sequins from P&M for the cost of the calendar.

Interesting day of embellishments. But for me my favorite is the matching die for Gus and Gertie.

Today was not a wow day but it wasn’t a fail either. The Ice Cream bar is really cute and a good size die for a card or tag. Gus is always cute. At least DP gave a lot of gems vs the other day where it was very few gems that I think was SB. Coordinating dies are good for the cute koala set. If you only picked 2 for next year, TE is a definite and then DP. I’d skip P&M and SB.

Gumdrop is not an ink color available on the TE site. This is an exclusive color for the calendar or will be released later on in the year. It’s a pretty shade for Fall and Winter. So today my order is: 1. TE 2. P&M 3. DP 4. SB. I’m sad there’s only a few days left. Will be interesting to see if any of the Advent products end up on their sites for sale. I sure hope TE has all of the teal things and the mini glass mat go on sale later this year. 4 more days and then we have to wait a whole ‘nother year. I’ll be looking for the TE 2025 early ordering in July email. Not missing out for 2025. 😊

I really love the sun and clouds dies. That is something I don't have and see lots of ideas where having a couple cloud dies would be beneficial.

Another pretty good Advent Calendar day. TE is the winner for me. I NEED that in my craft room.

You can never have too many brushes. I love the TE ones because they match my room and are good for smaller openings. Layered stencils are always fun. The Koala is cute and the sentiment stamps are ok. I have lots of sentiment stamps so I’m not wowed. Today is TE, DP, PM and then SB.

Today is definitely a redemption day. 😅 #1 is the coffee stamps and dies. The#2 is the Free Stencil, #3 is tied between the Embossing Powder and the mini ticket dies. Today was a great advent calendar day!

Today’s vote for me are the foil panels because they will make super quick cards for gift bags. I’d just foil them all at once and be done. Then the paint marker, HIP HOP HOORAY and then SB. I’d only use those microscopic dies once because I’d lose a piece. 😅

Those TE sentiment cards are foilable with a minc. How sparkly they would be on a package.

The mini cards are for a gift or a gift bag.

Today’s winner is Pink & Main. I’m sure TE has something coming up to go with the mini card bases and envelopes. Then SB because it’s an embossing folder. DP is a fail for today for me. Looks like they just cut a full sheet of hearts into pieces and then gave everyone a small piece. You coir probably use some of the small Foilable pieces on the mini cards to make a quick bday card.

I think that lovely little scooping tool from TE is definitely the winner from today. I think I like the bags, you can reuse them on your cards if you like them.
