    Thanks for the straight up review. It echoes my own experience. As for the amount used, we're coating the entire inside of the tire. A lesser amount will just take a bit longer to spread out. 10-15 min with the leak at 6 o'clock seems to allow enough settling over it if I use less than the bottle's recommendation. No more 'Slime' for me.

    May work on very low pressure tire BUT SURE DOES NOT on a bike tire with 40 pounds pressure. Even after all the air has escaped as soon as you try to pump air in the tire it spurts all the goop out. Forget about the 10 year warranty. You need to access the website to find out that the wattanty only applies if you purchase directy from the supplier in Texas. AND you have to send an 8 oz sample for analysis. Save your money.

    I tend to lean towards the double clamp style in the event there's uneven loads. But for the deal you got for the grapple and 3rd function installation, it's a good one. I've seen Tim of TTWT use both Precision Mfg. and Artillian grapples on his tractors. The Precision model is better for detailed cleanup compared to the Artillian, but Artillian has the advantage for bigger loads.

Frontier Owners manual for AV20H for 300/400 series loader. Frontier brochure table says AV20F for 100/200/300E loaders. AV20H requires 320R or 400E loader. Got one question for you guys. I'm looking into buying one of these to spray my sweet corn next year. I'm planting a 2 acre patch. The boom looks awesome so I can spray the cultivated field prior to planting for weeds. But my big question is how far will that wand spray? It says online 25 feet vertically and 40 horizontal. Have you noticed if it will actually spray out 40 feet? This is going to be critical for me, because I plan on spacing my rows out and leaving a path in btween sections of the corn. I'm going to play roughly 12 rows, which is close to 40 feet if its planted 36 inches apart, leave a 7 foot path for my tractor and sprayer to drive through, then plant another 40 foot (12 rows) on the other side of the path. I'm going to repeat this until the entire 2 acres is planted. I'm estimating about 3 or 4 paths will be needed. BUT MY QUESTION FOR YOU IS does the wand actually spray out 40 feet? When it comes time to spray for bugs, the corn will be too tall to spray over and thats what the paths are for with a reach of 40 feet on each side of it. I'm hoping the want shoots out 40 feet so I can drive down each path and just spray the corn with the wand as I go down. What's your thoughts on this? THANKS A BUNCH!

    • @burbstobarns7802
      @burbstobarns7802 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question, thanks for contacting us. Well in our experience the wand will not spray even close to 40 feet. Possibly 15 feet but that would be on stream. Again that’s my experience yours could differ. Sidenote I sprayed my sweet corn this last summer with the boom and it worked great. My tractor has pretty good clearance and I was able to let the stocks grow quite a bit before we sprayed. Then it was back to the backpack sprayer once the ears started to form. We alternated with spinsoad and BT . We’re in Southern California so everything grows including the bugs. We had about 30% insect damage. This next weekend will be putting in our fall corn crop. We wanted to try a BT variety but most everything was sold out. Good luck.

    Thanks for the video and nice tractor! I have a 2038R. I bought this sprayer last summer and am going to use it for the first time this afternoon. What pressure do you leave your sprayer at when actually spraying? I have mine set to 30psi as the instructions indicate running at full pressure could cause a change in the spray pattern. Also, I can't figure out what speed to run my tractor at, I figured 2mph but not sure if that's too fast or too slow. Any ideas?

    • @burbstobarns7802
      @burbstobarns7802 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment. As for pressure, I run it wide open. I believe it’s at 40 psi but not sure. For the spray speed, I did a few tests with water only on bare ground. I was looking for an even spray that looks more like what I get with my backpack sprayer. Found it at 4mph but yours may vary. I use more spray than the instructions say. Really way more, this leads me to believe I am going too slow. Later this week I am spraying my parents orchard (approx 5 acres) I will be filming that. We will see how much I use. Also any wind is a problem, the spray drifts at the higher pressure. Good luck!

    It's not bad! Artilian, you are in for $1600 for similar set up of rake/grapple/rake. I even think the weight is similar, maybe a little lighter on Artillian. The trouble is, you have to buy their fork plate, which just the plate will add $595.00 to the price, but, you'll be able to use their forks, which are pretty nice. I have a 2025R and JD advertises that the AV20F will work with it. So... it's on the wish list. I have SO many piles of limbs and debris! It would earn it's keep in just a month! (compared to a rental will run me about $600 a weekend, x 3 to 4 weekends) it really would pay for itself. I am worried about the teeth! That is an odd design. Artillian also has a much better lower bar system. Good luck with the new toy! Out here in NJ, the machine is sitting parked until Late April. Too cold, too damp, too muddy. This is the time of year I just shop and buy new toys for next season!

      Thanks for the Comment, if you get one send photos! I get what you are saying about the artilian, but the forks are nice. I hope to get a set this summer and run a review. Thanks again.
