@wellregulated8725 it's a great knife, I know it's not gonna chip, I was worried about that with my new Bravo 3 cpm 3v, but not anymore, the handle on yours is better that the Bravo 3, my ring and pinky finger don't sit right I can always modify it with tape, the Amish jon handle and design I like most

@wellregulated8725 it's an awesome knife, but I don't even sharpen my cool knives, I got my Bravo 3 I'm so happy I'm gonna sharpen the tip of that thing 99 times before I sharpen the entire blade portion, if the Bravo 3 didn't have the clip on the back it would be sexier, and heavier

@wellregulated8725 I was throwing it with the edge facing backwards, At a solid hardwood log, The log was sitting at a forty five degree angle on the ground from me, then I thrown it again and the tip dug into the dirt, right in front of the log, then all the rotating energy hit the log sideways, right on the side of the handle, broke at the screw terrible place to put a screw, but with that handle design that was the only place to put the screw... you were in a movie... do you know my sisters husband, who is a military recruiter, who was stationed at Fort Sill in Oklahoma? I remember my sister and other people saying something about Corporal Hicks. Then my sister's husband friends showed up, three different military dudes, I believe one of them was you. We had a little conversation about knives, collecting knives, and then the conversation was over cause knives are scary😅, and I even think they were calling you Reese, I thought Reese, that's a funny name, but anyways your a really Respectful man, meaning God damn look at that man I want to shake his hand. I knew how to be a man ever since I was 12, thanks to my daddy being such a good man, now I'll be better than him👹 but thanks to him all the girls looked at me when I was a child like, omg "little man", look at you, she said. I remember. I try to figure out my hole timeline from birth to now. Another thing I do is try to put myself in a girls Perspective, and look for man I would want to have a baby with, and there's not to many of them but I don't get out much, but when I do all them girls find me haha, I got thousands of woman bookmarked, so I hope I made you laugh smile today, I do everyday

@100BearPaw yah, it came with an ok edge, I haven't sharpened it properly at all, in like 9 months, cause if I do and hit a nail, not good, some day I'll sharpen it when It won't cut wood, stabed the microwave a hole bunch 1 day couple months later done it again, it's terrible for cutting, but it'll cut some wood, and I can separate anything with it, with force it's a good crowbar knife, the khhi kukri I got was made out of very cheap metal, they went to the scrapyard and bought a dump truck for 150$ then they cut it into 2000 pieces each priced at 230$, but there edge I got from them was dull hahaha and cheap ass metal, definitely not 52100 or 5160

@@ryanwalker1825oh ok. I’ve been considering getting that model. It’s the only factory made model that seems well made. Actually full tang and of a respectable size. No point in having a Bowie that Dundee would laugh at. What passes for a Bowie these days is laughable. No guard and tiny handles ect. I’m a professional sharpener, so that’s not an issue for me. I typically change the edges to suit my needs. I am curious where I can locate the information you mentioned about said dump truck. Cause I was considering getting an item from that place. Now if I can locate that information it would make me decide otherwise.

@JohnLemon-xq4pd keep saving, the tramontina 12 inch machete knife is pretty cool. I don't have one, but there are only 20 bucks, and you can beat it up, hurt the edge, and it won't matter

@JohnLemon-xq4pd I never put any oil on mine. I just make sure it's clean with a wire brush and keep it dry, It depends on what oil. Most people say oil it after every use

@ryanwalker1825 The one I'm saving for is in 1075 carbon steel so surely I'd have to oil it right?

@JohnLemon-xq4pd if you don't put lacker on it, yeah. But I'm an extreme Minimalist so I'm not going to put oil on it everyday or ever. But i got linseed oil and olive oil, But those and beez wax will save your blade from having a crater of rust in it, caused by water sitting on it

Aww, very good eye. In the beginning, there was a lot, because my phone wasn't recording, and the other was cause I seen some knife guy chop a 2x4 and he was having troubles with the last inch of the 2x4, he was hitting it softly

@TheGunsNBlades thank you I like keeping my knives dull, I keep my machete sharp if I'm cutting grass, the tip portion only, if I gotta cut a ton of grass I'll sharpen the whole profile to get done faster, but I'll eventually sharpen my knives on a aluminum oxide wet stone. I like to lay the edge back to make it more slicy like my broke Amish Jon when carving wood like a convex edge, but on the other hand if you keep the original V edge it's a little harder to wood carve meaning more muscle gains but I practically never workout☠️ but I'm great I'm golden I just know I could be way stronger than what I am now, im like damn it, I wonder what my testosterone is probably 10,000 based on the way I feel hahaha

@@Joshua-hv5gs The knife wasn't very sharp, That's why I put a crease in the bottle, or I could cut the bottle in half over the kitchen sink. For a nice drinking cup.

@100BearPaw show is condor is pretty good I don't know why they make the handle hollow, it makes it 10 times weaker

@Erebus.666. It's positive in my eyes. The only negative is that the handle is hollow, Which makes it very easily breakable

@@ryanwalker1825 The BK9 does, but not the RTAKII, it only has screw holes in the handle and this knife still continues to serve me well.
