I have not tuned mine. I really don't see the need for it, in less you are going to put a aftermarket exhaust on or big tires. Then you may need to at that point.

Thanks for the question. Yes there was one cat and a muffler, the cat I had to cut from the exhaust pipe it's self. But other then that is was pretty easy. Let me know if you have any other questions. Oh and no I did not have to tune it.

@@joeaction2910 thanks for that info. Did your truck throw a code when you took the catalytic converter out? And also does Your truck have the egr? I was wanting to straight pipe mine all the way and also do a full egr delete. I was just wondering if I had to tune it if I did all that.

No, mine didn't throw any codes on my tuner or on the truck it's self. As far as engine lights go, like I had here from other people. And no I haven't done the egr delete on mine.

No, I don't have a tune on her. And just a stock intake. MPG I get about 17 on average.

I had the straight piped stock 3” with intake and a mild tune and I as getting 23 town and 30mpg highway. Trying to get a little back, I’m running a 5” turndown under the rear cab and love it. 21mpg now but I’m trying to squeeze a little more out lol

@@mileswojtczak1269 on an LBZ you’re getting that kind of MPG? You on stock wheels? I have an 06 with EFI Live and on a 6” lift with 35’s. I get around 16-16.4 mpg max. I do keep it in race mode, but my MPG never lowered or gained in any other mode.

@@stephenfurr8769 I’m currently on 265 tires on 16” aluminum wheels. On my ppe level 3 out of 4 I get steady 20-21 mpg. My buddy keeps his lml on efi level 4 tune and gets 19-20. Those bigger tires definitely will lower the mpgs with both weight and size

I would say get rid of the factory down pipe and the catalytic converter for sure.

I’m a GM guy, but in modern diesels, the Ford is the most powerful.

I have heard of that happening, but fortunately it hasn't thrown any codes or checks engine lights. But if it did it's no big deal to just throw in a cheap tuner.

Yeah, unfortunately it came with the fob. And the dealer I went to only gave me one fob, so I bought two more and it cost me $70 buck unfortunately. But I guess it could have been worse.

Sweet! Oh it has more than enough power with the way it is right now. But it may change if you where to put some bigger tires or tracks on it. And the ride, I think is amazing especially compared to like your older Honda Ranchers.

Not that I am aware of! I mean it has a pretty good size radiator and the fan turns on when I stop.
