I have just purchased my first tube of Daler Rowney artists watercolour in New Zealand (Mars Violet) but 9 days it is just not setting in the pan. It is a little frustrating because it is soft enough when I tried puttng the pan on its side, replicating being stored in the palette in my travel bag, it started to slide. The colour is awesome and I love the fact it is granulating, but I just do not know if I have this from a batch where perhaps the mix was not quite right, or if it is a feature of the paints, that they do not set.

So glad I watched this as I have been umming and aahhing about the cobalt green deep too, but seeing it out the tube - it's stunning! What is the granulation like? It looks minimal on the page there but some sample pictures make it look more granulating. They are currently on sale at an art shop near me for $9 (AUS) , even the pricier ones! Oh and how granulating is the Ultramarine Violet? I have only found one swatch of this colour online!

Great video, love those cards, so beautiful!

A couple of things. Don't use distress paint on it or if you do wash it off before it dries. If you live in a warm climate you may want to glue the feet on more securely and perhaps avoid using a heat tool over it. Dimensions Couture Creations 15.5 X 11.7in, Tim Holtz Travel Media Mat 15.5 X 10.25. My take is if you want the small format for with the Couture Creations because it's more than triple the price for the Tim Holtz. Unless you find a banging deal of course.

I appreciate your efforts, but found it very difficult to listen to. I had to turn the volume up to max to hear you most of the time and then every now and then I guess you got close to the mic and it blew out my speakers. I am sorry, but I had to turn this off. Pity, as I was really hoping to find out the difference between the two models.
