To me, this is useless as phones aren't able to play games nor should be doing such. Xperia play had some reason to do that, but this looks useless. It's cool, but I am calling it useless due to the crappy software, and there's nothing good on mobile. Until there is a nuke on the F2P on that storefront. It will never be better.

One thing I also believe goes under appreciated, is that designs like this (With controllers underneath the screen) give much better ergonomics. A few degrees makes it substantially more comfortable since you don't need to tilt your neck down as far, and its easier to reach eye level if you are using it laying down in bed.

Thank you so much for your contribution to society with this design. This is exactly what I imagined that PSP phone thing was going to be, also, the exact idea I had in mind when I fought with a friend about nintendo stopping making hand helds and just making a phone.

I'd just say please try to focus also on the motion range of the analog sticks and implementing L3 and R3 as press able buttons for the analog sticks. That would be the absolute game changer!! Im staying tuned for more!

This thing needs to be twice thinner, at least thinner than the iphone itself, while also finding room to cram a little battery in it. And then boom, mobile gaming won't s**ck anymore.

I love what this is but in my personal opinion i don't think its gonna revolutionize mobile gaming. First, think to yourself what games are you gonna be playing on this thing, I know your going to say emulation which has 3 points to think about first, the only emulators that are out now on iphone that are fully functional are for systems that are decades old and the best of those systems are n64 ds ps1 and maybe snes nes and gameboy depending on if you like those older games, the ps2 dreamcast and 3ds don't work good enough for the iphone. Here comes to my second point emulators on Android work so much better compared to ios you can run gamecube wii ps2 and 3ds better than the iphone and this product is made for the iphone you probably could get it to work on android phones but why not just by and controller thing for that system you are using and final point is how are you going to get those games i know this is kinda a stupid question but pirating games is still illegal so you would have to still have to own the game and then how are you going to dump the game. Now im not trying to hate on this thing but i just dont like how he saying this is gonna revoultionize mobile gaming.

I'm looking forward to this since I LOATHE touchscreen buttons! But I'm most excited at the button layout because my biggest gripe with our current mobile game controller market is NONE of them have their D-pads parallel to the face buttons ala PlayStation. As a retro gamer playing things built for the humble D-pad, and with Xbox's layout the norm, I can hardly cope with moving my thumb down one level for parts in games too slippery for analogue sticks (menus and Mega Man jumping to reach a far off later). As long as a D-pad and face buttons share the same vertical level, I'm sold. Might I also suggest accessibility to play via wired connection? In case you're playing with Airplane mode on or if Bluetooth isn't working, allow easy access for a USB cable between the controller and phone while attached.

I think this is a hit in 3rd world countries where phone gaming is one of the biggest ways people enjoy gaming

I would pay 3x your asking price for a keyboard. Actually, I would probably buy whatever phone you designed it for if it was a keyboard (android pls).

This controller just hits, not only is it great for gaming on your phone the fact it can come apart and use it as a standalone controller while your phone can be connected to a tv or something can literally replace consoles especially if you have good enough internet for cloud gaming

add a powerbank to it. helps with the bigger phones beeing heavy and to top heavy . also would help it beeing a permanent attachment. you charging the controller anyway so why not make it charge your phone to if needed.

I like the slide-off plate. This could be replaced by any (rubber) phone cover that would have the two rails incorporated. Any cell phone could then be used if the respective cover would be available or if the two rails could be glued to any phone cover.
