The Homepod has a 4and half inch subwoofer and tweeters, surely a simple 3 inch full range driver cant compete with that
Hello, I really like this projects and am trying to make something that absolutely dominates those jbl flip and charge series, how would this compare, I know the video doesn't do it justice. I love heavy bass and have an insane car system 1700w rms of bass shaking my car apart, but I am trying to 3d print something and use a cheap small speaker to make something crazy.

Nice work, the camera vibrating at the end really makes it sounds quite bass heavy :) you could use a dayton audio ND65 in a small space (2 inch) and probably get more of the low end, but you are right, the 3 inch might need twice the enclosure size. You can check out one of my 3d print jobs for the above driver if you feel like you want to try a smaller one.
I’m debating on which speaker to print next. I really love a heavier bass as I listen to more electronic/pop. This driver taps out pretty easily with bass. Thinking about printing a sub housing and a full range housing and giving it a go.
@@michaelbmason95 Sounds like similar music champ. A small 2.1 setup would be pretty cool if you are looking for portibility or even a 1.1 :) I have never tried those small tangband subs, but they look great for the size.

Yeah it depends where you are as well. But my signal disconnected when I went under. But I kept holding the stick forward to make sure it didn't return to home under it
