How tf do you even aim in that game?

So I am currently using this alt account of mine but I do have some experience with youtube. The advice I can give you is harsh but real. TH-cam isnt like it used to be. 10 years ago the comptetion was a bunch of random dudes recording random gameplay and calling it a series. These were good times. But the harsh reality is that youtube changed. You are now competing with higly intelligent people who know all the ins and outs of the youtube algorithm they also have teams which help them generate high quality videos at a high rate. Its sad but you can either choose to be yourself and make the videos which you enjoy making. But that wont realistically give you any views or subscribers. Or you can choose to make yourself one of these intelligent people. Learn the ins and outs of the algorithm. Make content which is super addictive that your audience cant stop watching and keep them wanting more. This option doesnt require you to completley forsake your personality and just become a content creating machine. But its more like a middle ground. Do what youtube wants now so youtube lets you do what you want later. I can tell by your voice that you are relativley young. So I dont think that you actually need to worry that much about the two options. But if you want youtube success, fame, money. Then realise that nothing comes without a price. If you want to eat apples everyday then start planting lots of apple trees. They will take years to grow and lots of effort but when they do grew you get to eat apples everyday with the only little effort of watering then occasionally.
