1997-1998! There's not much footage of their menus or what was broadcast besides the modified Sonic 3D Blast, so this will be interesting! Please let me know when it's ready! (EDIT: Depending on far into 1998 it is, getting the ACTUAL final sendoff broadcast would be pretty great, too.)

@@kabbusses So far we went through 4 tapes, 1 was mostly Twitch TV and Guvyer. I got like 20 more unmarked VHS tapes we're going through. I'll be sending off our DVD+R copies to BillyTimeGames for editing and uploading. Still hoping that I find the one with my Vectorman art from the Digital Spot Light around Nov '97.

Series is "Sutte Hakkun" (すってはっくん) Specific entry shown here is "Event Version" (ベントバージョン) which was the initial Satellaview release. The game 3 has Satellaview versions, one Retail Super Famicom version, and a scrappped-but-leaked Game Boy/Color version.

This emulator checks the region lock. I recall having problems with many Japanese games because of that.

@@kabbusses dang, not even an english patched rom would work on that?

@@MahmoudEhab2023The ROM hack would have to consciously modify the region, which is a bit of a wild card on if a translator actually does it.

@@MahmoudEhab2023 I'll look into it. It's been a while since I ran up the emulator though, so please give me a bit of time on it. Also, give further suggestions during that time, I'd like to have an ample amount when I get back to it.

There was a retail version released on cart and the Nintendo Power flash service, that's probably easier to find in the wild than any of the Satellaview versions. Said retail version has a fan translation if you're willing to work with patched ROMs. Do note that the puzzles and minigames are different between versions.
