I'm not too familiarised with PCSX2 but Rowdy's tutorial to get the best settings is quite thorough, I used that. Just search and follow his instructions, then make adjustments to what he explains will improve the visuals :)

You don't need a powerhouse PC to run GT4 on max PCSX2 settings

@@Whyteeford i have m5 6y57 Intel HD 515 (I could run fallout 3 60fps on mid graphics) also half life 2 on highest possible settings and i got 60 to 80fps But when i installed the pcsx2 emulator with gt4 nahh it's too laggy i also tried to change the settings and yeah 10fps with drop frame

@@x__3__i ok that makes sense. That's a low end integrated graphics processor in a laptop. Emulation is alot more resource heavy than a game made for PC. But a $300 PC would easily play this game, the way you see it in this video

@@x__3__i lol ya seems like it. Can probably get a second hand PC for super cheap that would play the retro games great. If your planning on playing emulated PS3 or Xbox 360 games though, you'll need something alot beefier

You're all describing realistic behaviours. 1: this Auto Union is aerodynamic in the meaning of having a low cx. This means, low vertical forces, the opposite of what happens in track racing, a F1 car has a cx similar to a truck because it uses wings to get sticked at the floor 2: Chaparall taking off when road is bumpy? This is why systems that require the undercar sealed to the floor, like the venturi tubes banned in 1983, are dangerous. Theese methods generate a big downforce in relation to the cx increase, allowing to use less the wings, all beautiful, until the undercar is sealed to the floor. When the car jumps, downforce decreases drastically, and this is what k*lled so many drivers. Nothing to say, GT4 still the best, a masterpiece that hardly will be recreated

It does say TAS run, as in tool assisted speedrun, in the description. I have no idea what "tools" even look like for gran turismo though lol, I kinda got recommended this out of nowhere.

Yes I'm driving and I used save states at each sector so I could stitch together my most optimal lap Now when I do it all in one go I can gauge how close I'm getting to my 'perfect lap' 👌

The car was changed in a latter update that made it significantly slower

That’s strange, I just checked on Kudosprime and it’s suppose to have 899hp. Maybe they’ve changed it recently, I’ll check if mines changed to 890hp when I get on again 🤙

@@WestRoadZ i have tried your set up , your getting 210 mph ..... i cant even get 204mph top speed my best lap is 4.59.6 .... some other guys even get 903 and 912 BHP

The top speed was reduced with a recent patch unfortunately so we can’t go that quick anymore without lowering aero downforce. I can do a new tune this week and upload a new updated video that might work better. I’m not sure on how others are getting more power but I can look into it. And a 4.59 is quite quick mate nice work 👍

Pontigoner Racing Hey mate, I’ve recently been trying to beat it and noticed this too. I think it’s top speed has been reduce or aero has been increased in some patch since 1.24 to make it seem slower. Best I got was a 4:57 with a optimal time of 4:55. I’ll try and sort out a better tune with these ‘new’ physics and let you know the tune mate 🤙
