ATRAPADOS (Trapped) is a staggering and haunting film, directed by Matthew Patrick" LOS ANGELES TIMES "A real hybrid - an apocalyptic, science-fantasy. For an independent film, this is not only astoundingly original, but extremely well made, and so strange it's got to be believable. Colorful, mysterious and unlike anything you've ever seen." TAINTED BLOOD directed by Matthew Patrick - Raquel Welch

Thriller starring Raquel Welch about two young orphan women who are involved in murder. Also starring Joan Van Arc, Allie Mills, Kerri Green and Natasha Wagner. "This neat little thriller directed by Matthew Patrick makes a valiant effort to conceal the killer's identity and keep the level of interest high as one revelation after another sets the pendulum swinging between suspects." Must be 90s there is a pearl jam poster on toris bedroom wall
As a women diagnosed with pof in my early 30s it killed me not yo be able to have children. All the women in my fam are natural mothers by choice. My choice was taken. My husband at the time blamed me for not being able to give him a fam. He never wanted to adopt. Now as I am so much older I want too but hearing the horror stories of being a foster mom and basically caring and loving difficult children who have suffered to only give them back to their parents is heartbreaking. Not that that shouldn't be the goal in foster care but maybe foster could still be in the child's life in some visitation cap. Otherwise the child being cared for feels abandoned all over again. No wonder adoptive children have attachment issues. They are shuffled through the system going through foster home to foster home without stability. It's a receipe for heartbreak and confusion. 😢😢😢😢😢
❤ILOVED this movie, touched me so much😂the adopted children are not all happy, that's the reality of life 😢 😢😢
All that yelling have be a headache
What a twist 😮
Rachelle is straining so bad to be convincing buttoned up journalist/author you can practically feel her getting a hernia 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Nice movie 🎥
i dont get it? were both the girls evil in the end?
Good movie
The constant portrayal of children in care with problems is exaggerated. They are no more or less screwy than everyone else.
Dang they don't make them this good anymore ❤2024❤
44:37 When you do a favor for an ungrateful person ...When you offer your kindness to those who do not deserve it
I love Kerri Green ❤
The way Tori treats her brother, she seems to need help, too. Nothing about her is maternal or older sister like. Oh boy, no more adoption for me!
I thought the father was practical, but he is gullible, too. "Talk to the lawyer."- smh. They have known this kid for two days! Some people take pride in their goodness.
Natasha is the spitting inage of her mother ... just beautiful ❤
I have never seen a worse actress in my 52 years
GOOD MOVIE IT HAS A BITE TO IT WORTH THE WATCH
👍
16:20 if you don’t know where ideas come from or don’t have any, you shouldn’t be trying to write books 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Lucy's dad is deaf dumb and blind.
Weird movie amazing acting kept you guessing right to the end
Ive been looking for this for decades!
Speaking of the “Lifetime Movie Channel,” when the Cox cable guy came to apt to connect the cable. My GF said she liked the “Lifetime Channel,” and the cable guy said “That’s the Man Hater Channel.” Then I said I like the History Channel, he said “That’s the Hitler Channel.” That was back in the early 90s, but I will never forget it. 😂😂😂😂😂
I saw this once on VHS. But I forgot how it went. Any ideas?
1:23:32 Why is Alissa calling dude her dad? She’s 18 and just met him.
1:21:00 Plot twist
1:16:51 Damn!!😮😮😮
40:48 At first, she called the girl a dork but now she’s obsessed with being her friend? 🤷♀️ 😂😂
32:20-32:28 The husband is mousey and annoying. 🤦♂️ man up dude!!
13:00 So, we’re supposed to believe that boy and teen girl are the same age?😂😂
2024 who's watching ❤
Ok, I have been looking for a movie that was on lifetime…it’s been ages…but the story from what I remember is this rich guys wife dies somehow and this young woman gets her heart. At the end of the movie he and the younger girl get in a fight and she calls the cops and that’s how the film ends.
Ohhhhh it was alessa 😮
I'm sure some kids that are adopted are not all happy in the homes that they placed.Who knows what goes on in their minds. They could have been abused in their own homes and scarred for life. Its not something that can easily be fixed. Some people shouldn't be having kids if they can't look after them.Good movie and great cast.❤
Horrible twisted movie Disorders and murderers are not passed from one generation to the other A mother kills her use to then her twins each does the same thing Plus it was clear as daylight who was the murderer And that horrible reporter trying to expose privileged information and a nurse breaking the rules for her How does that help people trust professionals and know their information is confidential
👍🙏❤️
Nice movie.. great suspense...
Good movie. But i did figure it out pretty early on. Watch it and if you do to.
Some of the worst overacting I've seen.
Well I don't think this kind of film is healthy for youth to watch. Not at all.
PEOPLE don't have empathy in the blood. This is picture of life 🧬 creating movie. Looks very entertaining. Life is the game with "Rassian rulet", enjoy it!
Much obliged.
Most chilling moment was when the young boy nearly lost his life 😮 Sadly abandoned children who had moved through foster care, may suffer seriously from attachment disorders. Had winessed in real life how biological children are harmed, with families torn apart as result. Especially harmful if children are fostered, while continuing to have contact with their biological parent/s in unsavoury environments.
06may2024 Tainted Blood.1993.(Raquel Welch.Joan Van Arc.Alley Mills.Kerri Green.Natasha Wagner)[Patrick]{Cerrella.st.Rowell.tlpl.Coughlin.ed.Dickson.ph.Kaproff.msc}_5.8_1h40_/ Raquel Welch is an author researching a new book, when she comes across the story of a surprising double murder-suicide. A smart, young, athletic high school student adopted by his parents at a young age had killed his well-respected family, then committed suicide. Welch goes on a hunt to discover that the boy's biological mother had been a patient in a mental institution and that the boy is part of a fraternal twin set. His sister had also been adopted, and Welch, fearful of a murderous genetic trait, takes it upon herself to find the sister. Meanwhile, two good friends and neighbors, Wagner and Green, exhibit the type of behavior that leads to believe that one of them is the missing sister. Welch tracks them down and it's only a matter of time to discover which one has the deadly trait.// I first watched this film when I rented it from a local video shop at the tender age of 14 for a sleep over party./ When I was 14 the film made no sense and I was left confused at the end although I enjoyed the suspense and story line. I was left thinking about the end for days./ 9 years on and after years of searching for the film to buy I finally have my own copy. I have watched it again and again and again and never tire of the film. Although I am still completely confused at the ending - you really are left wondering, there are so many possibilities of what really happened!// First things first: if you plan to watch this 1993 telefilm, suspend your disbelief immediately./ Now, onto the film. An all-American clean-cut kid murders his adoptive parents and commits suicide. A gorgeous crack reporter (Welch) is on the case, writing a book about kids who kills their parents and digging into the dirt of this baffling case. After two brief "moral issue" scenes (one questioning, for half a second, the role of the media in perpetuating violence, the other questioning the role of genetics in shaping future society), her investigations lead her to a shocking discovery: not only was the kid's murder of his parents caused by a genetic deficiency, but he also had a twin sister and she, of course, could blow at any time and murder her adoptive parents. Looking quite lovely throughout, Welch is on the case, cool and glam as she hunts down this genetically pre-disposed murderous teen./ Cut to Suburban USA, where two adopted teen girls live across the road from each other. One has the sane Alley Mills from "The Wonder Years" as her mother; the other suffers the far more fascinating Joan Van Ark from "Knots Landing" (expanding admirably on her histrionics from telefilm "Always Remember I Love You" a few years earlier, where she also played the highly-strung adoptive mother of a troubled teen)./ This film is quite implausible and unbelievable, but it is diverting enough if you have nothing better to do - and it is watchable for Van Ark's scenery-chewing performance alone (although the rest of the cast do their share of scenery-chewing too!) ///
Hello hello. Would you like to know the answer? This is Matthew Patrick the Director.
very good movie
Some very good acting performances by all of the cast; w/ a fairly solid script, and excellent cinematographics. Just one question though; who installs a deadbolt on their bedroom door?
Lissa is the spitting image of her mom Natalie wood
That was a very good movie. Thank you for the free movie ❤👌👍
