Hello, this timelapse looks more interesting and various, then other timelapses for original game. I think, what paradox interective does wrong, which combines the Victorian era and the period of the First World War in its game. Therefore, we cannot get a realistic simulation of the First World War. I want to see such a game from the company paradox interective. Do you know the mods on victoria 2 about first world war? Ps. My anglish langich is not nice

The allies reconquer Europe and the soviets get almost everything. Perfectly balanced as it should be.

Dissapointed in how they failed to make the ai follow this historically. The soviets pushed back, and the germans retreated further than the soviets in the war....but here it seems they were stuck.

The German Troops struggled on the Latvian River on the North and they not even get close too Pskov and Leningrad , Moscow has a Giant lines of Supply Railway systems that's why the Soviets didn't struggled that much on defence .

I can see how the Germans had a hard time , when they invaded the Soviet Union : alot of Supply railway problems they couldn't pass the Donets on the South East and even they couldn't take Crimea they couldn't pass the straits on Soulthern Ukraine , now the Rivers are more usefull in the game .

The mod is indeed boring and based on my experience I guess there's a few things the developpers of such mods miss quite a lot: 1)The World War 3 should be a possibility at any moment. Either both the player and the opposite-side bot does literally everything to prevent it, either it happens very quick. Thus it basically should also be a WW3 mod and have respective mechanics plus much more developped and thought-through DEFCON/World Tension system (I remember literally instantly lowering DEFCON to 1 in earlier versions of this mod and nothing happening). 2)Stuff shouldn't be just scripted. There's no interest in playing a game which is like "the African nations all get independent in 1960 by an event". Instead there should be focus trees with plenty of alternative paths (which indeed Cold War period offered a lot) and every run should be a mix of what happened in the real life vs what could happen. Take decolonisation: there should be at least a possibility for countries like France or Portugal based on their approach to maintain their empires and to reform them into some kind of unequal federation after maybe a military victory over the rebels. Furthermore, the African states might be able to get reorganised according to the ethnicity (full, hardcore decolonisation and de-europeanisation); there should be wars and union between them (Senegambia, Arab Islamic Republic etc. etc.). Obviously this requires a lot of work. 3)The mod should have a logical conclusion, which is either a victory of USSR, either of the USA, either some kind of wicked peace/standoff with rapprochement and emergence of new great powers. The focuses should lead to this in one way or another, the world should be at brink of either war or one of the great powers' collapse at any moment (and only a very skilled player/very lucky bot can drag out the Cold War for over 30 years). The world cannot stay fundamentally the same, just as it's impossible for it to stay the same in vanilla timeline.
