3D Printed Wrist Watch (Case and Bracelet)
I once wondered how a mechanical watch was constructed. So i bought a broken watch from the internet, took it appart, found a misplaced part and putt it back together.
The watch only came with a broken case and no bracelet so i tried to 3d print a case and bracelet.
Against my expectations the watch turned out quite useable.

How to use a 4 wire resistive touchscreen with an Arduino
มุมมอง 18K5 ปีที่แล้ว
A resistive touchscreen consists of two flexible and resistive sheets with an air gap between them. Then the screen is touched, the two sheets are pressed together. By applying a voltage over one of the sheets it is possible to calculate the position in one direction by measuring the voltage on the other sheet. To get the position in the other direction the voltage is applied over the other she...

    Should have reduced the size of your turn nozzle for increased turn thrust and increased thrust when running straight. Give your outlet opening a bell shape and your turn nozzle can be reduced to outlet size and with your turn control increased. If you were to turn the bell housing mount to the side first add a short intermediate duct that turns into a bell shape for the steering outlet, it will give you a trim effect for larger heavier models.

    this isn't a Jet Pump, it is called Pump Jet, Hydrojet or Water Jet (A Jet pump is a completley different device wich is propelled by the Jet itself, no motor no engine, also called, Ejector or injector) Das ist keine Jetpumpe, eine Jetpumpe ist wei der Name schon sagt ein Gerät daß den Fluidstahl benutzt um anderes Fluid zu fördern.

    Split your scoop in two, and print it insides pointing up, that way, you get the best print you can get from it. You can print an over housing to glue on top if you feel it's not strong enough.

    - First of all make sure you have a big Pull down resistors on the Two analog inputs. ( I used 10Kohms ) - Second, there is a mistake in his code. the delay commands should be placed before analogRead commands to give the arduino the time to switch the pinmodes. if you put the delay command before after the analogRead you will not have a 0 value with no touch and also your readings will be totally wrong. you can reduce the delay time to 10 millisecond and maybe even less and you will get a robust performance.

    thanks for posting. here are some things to consider. this is a VERY SHORT hull. where were you able to buy a WATERPROOF servo. the big black servo was installed aft, W H Y. do you have a flawed theory to support this design decision. if so, don't bother telling me about it. at :10, it appears that there is NOTHING keeping the ends of the pushrod in place. compare a mod. z-bend. the motor and esc have ZERO cooling. (see this simpler, jet idea; at 1:01.) cheers googletranslate th-cam.com/video/0tKGmv5ApTE/w-d-xo.html

    • @marcuswaerme5131
      @marcuswaerme5131 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, the hull design are mainly designed to be as small as possible, if the design is to unstable I might make it gyro stabiliced like a quodcopter. The servo are just an old servo i had from other projekts and is realy oversized for this boat. The water profing of the electronicks are only made by cowering them in a water repellent spray, that will probobly be okey for freshwater.

    • @marcuswaerme5131
      @marcuswaerme5131 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It might be possible. The limiting factor for how big and powerful you can build it is the strength of the 3d printed material. And i guess the easiest way to find that limit is to try. But if you want a reliable Jet pump for you're kayak I wold't recommend to 3d-print it.

    • @RoyerFlyFishing
      @RoyerFlyFishing 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@marcuswaerme5131 could you print an intake that would match up to a kawasaki 140mm jet ski pump? I know a lot of guys who build boats where we cut the bottom out of a jet ski and bolt it to the bottom of our jon boats along with a lot of sealant. It works ok but the fiberglass jet ski intake isn't holding up well to river rocks and sand.They also could stand to be a bit bigger as the hydrodynamics change quite a bit when they are attached to a jon boat rather than a well engineered jet ski. The alternative is to buy a aluminum cast intake but they run about $1800usd. I think a lot of guys would opt for a thick and sturdy 3d printed intake if someone could make one that would work.
