@ i gotta get ur thoughts om this, being as u touched on Heathers dramatic acting chops. Only of my favorite scenes is after John becomes Donald and Heather goes back in house and picks up the pills, she realizes Dylan left “breadcrumbs” she walks in the room hearing freddys voice, “TOO LATE HEATHER…. Toooo Late” she looks down and sees Rex ripped to shreds on the floor. One subtle aspect, Heather takes two small gasp and he she limps towards the doll. At that moment you can see how powerful her acting range is, basically conveying the horror she imagined Dylan having to go through by being front row seat as Freddy traumatizes him as he slashes the Rex doll to death. thoughts?
@ I think she played it the way she meant to. You can feel the fear but also the determination to save her son and stop Freddy to me she played it real. Plus I love the hero moment of her accepting that she is Nancy when John becomes Donald. Also Freddy slashing Rex was Wes showing that he’s powerful and nothing can stop him he’s got Dylan and that means endgame.
@ heck yeah brotha. u got it! Like u said in the video its of a psychological thriller movie. One of the biggest minds fux, is we see in the end of the movie, in the demons layer, it actually turns out to be the design of the movie set in the beginning 😮. 2nd, we see in the demons layer, the script that Wes has been writing. BUT HOW did it get in the demons layer??? oooooo man that is freaky as heck to think about. Its almost as if the entity forced Wes to write the script as a form of entertainment “hey ill come pick it up when your done” Cause how exactly did that script get in the demons domain? 🤯 🎃
@ that’s an interesting idea you brought up dude. In the original script the “Wes Craven character” was meant to be more darker and obsessed with writing the movie to the point were he’s living in a van with no sunlight. New Nightmare has more to it then ppl think it’s literally the thinking man’s movie because it opens up so interpretations that’s why I love it so much

I agree with you. It was so overhyped as the scariest movie. I actually really liked it but it did not live up to the “scary” hype.
