Here is a performance of Glen Velez's epic composition for frame drums, "Doctrine of Signatures." The piece is in a 41 beat cycle with various sections in 8 + 8, 7, 9, 5, and 4. Glen gives us cues that tell us to stay in each of these sections and then introduces rhythmic vocalizations, all while stepping in time to the quarter note pulse.
