This afternoon I spent a couple of hours detecting my cousins backyard in Essendon, Melbourne. Found them something that they will keep for keepsake. . . . . . . #equinox #minelab #nox900 #treasure #treasurehunting #coins #relics #sixpence #silver #dogtag #metaldetecting #metaldetectors #essendon #history #1930 #victorian #backyard

If you are looking for an entry level gold detector look into the Minelab Monster 1000. I am yet to trial her but cheers to prosperity! Super!!!! ❤
G'day Dani! That's why it's always good to have your detector in the car, I never leave home without it. If I come home with a silver, it's been a great hunt!... Your lump of lead looked like a spring Lamb hopping! I once found one that looked like a Koala hanging on a tree, it took a little while to realise it was just lead. Hope you had fun, Cheers!
@waynearmstrong5233 hahaha same Wayne. I kept looking at that lump of thinking it was something but it was just my mind playing tricks. Hehehe. Thanks for your comment and stopping by my channel. I'm definitely going to try keep the detector in the car! You just never know!
Hey guys i know i was meant to report back on whether this is water proof or not but we have been doing some renos and I cant find where i packed it. 😅😅 Once i locate it i will do the test.
Super Dani
Thanks Lisa. Finally getting those silvers. 😊
On the silver train 🚂 toot toot. Nice find Dani well done!
@Working925detecting thanks Darren. My cousin was stoked with the silver. His partner said she might frame it so it's great when history is appreciated.
Well done Dani! So much better digging a silver up! Woohooo 😍
It was such a great day! ❤
@@i_dig_it_melbourne Ha, I have no idea what I meant to write, but I edited it to at least make sense 😆😆
@@leeclyma hahaha. Thought day light savings had you on the piss. 😂😂😂
@@i_dig_it_melbourne Bahahahaha 😆😆 I wish 😆😆
Well done finding the sixpence, great job
@mdmelbourne6076 thanks Jim. No.3... slowing building up the count!
The tool belt is working well while detecting. Great find in the yard.
Thank you!!! Its bloody fantastic. 1 week to getting this belt i spent $25 on a pick holder, such a waste. 😆 This holds everything!
Great fun hunt, you both had good finds 😊
Thanks Brun. Can't wait for more days like this.
If you check the suspender buckle it will have a date on it. I have two and both have dates. Good hunting.
Thanks for watching. I passed on that info to my mate. Hopefully she can find a date. That would be pretty spesh!
Good hunt out with a mate Dani. Well done mate 😁👍
Thanks CBK!!! It was such a great day out with Lee. 😀
I got a tiny horseshoe that I thought was off a shetland pony doing it hard all those years ago, turns out the miners put them on their boots. Must admit that doesn't look like the state park to me.
@theGoldWolf thanks for watching. When you compare a horse shoe to a miners heel cap they are definitely very different in size. Happy swinging!
Ps. The intro was filmed at the accomodation where my mate was staying, not where we were detecting. The other 2 locations were crown land.
@@i_dig_it_melbourne As mentioned, I thought it was off a small horse. Always learning! Cheers.
@theGoldWolf absolutely! I'm a beginner so I'm learning too!
Omg I watched this twice and laughed out loud so many times. The ray bans 😂😂 the ants 😂😂 the dunny. I love your vids ❤
@10TargetsDetecting thanks Cam. Really appreciate you watching and leaving a comment. ❤️
Bahaha the toilet/dunny… I loved watching you guys ❤❤❤
you put your one cent in your pocket.
Thanks for giving me places to look. My friend put it in my pouch for me and due to its size I think it slipped through the holes at the bottom. I'm hoping the horse shoe will bring me luck regardless.
You'll find those bloody coins EVERYWHERE 😡😂 Did you clean up the button?
@Working925detecting mate I was finding f*&k all so I was glad to find that coin..😂😂 The button belonged to Lee so wasn't even mine but it was pretty much gonsky. Very rusted so don't think she would be able to make much detail...
@i_dig_it_melbourne 🤣 yeah bugger, always nice to find a button with some history to research
Ohhhh noooo! I put the 1c in the middle of your pouch? In the wrong spot 😫
We will have to go back and find it now. 😂😂😂
🥴🥴🥴Sorry
Decent day out, anyone of those targets could have been a nugget, others missed them.
Yes so true!!! 👌
Thank you very much I couldn’t close it without this video 😅
My pleasure 😂
Omg! Pity you can’t detect around there 😂
It's pretty cool there.. They have so many familiar pieces on display. ❤
I would love to know if you have tried using this in the rain? Was it actually waterproof?
@JlJl-wk5cp hey... sorry haven't had a chance to test it out but it's definitely on my to do list...I will post a review on here once I do! Hopefully soon!
I cant say for sure, but your last item, the tea pot or kettle and pots, frypan kit is very similar to an op shop purchase i made a few years ago, its the most convenient bit of kit i have, if it is the same, everything fits inside each other, in a little carry sack, and ive used it many times, in fact, i use the kettle every day to make a cuppa with. But make sure you stand the handle up as the plastic grip can be melted, and you'll end up with just the wire handle, and that can get finger burning hot even in the upright position, best option when heating is to keep the flame within the circumference of its base. Plus give everything a wash before you use it for the first time. Good purchase! Cheers!
Cheers Wayne they are very good tips!! I don't want to melt my new little tiny tea pot. It's too cute to ruin. 😂
My favourite hauls 🫶🏻🫶🏻
@ShammiSlaiwa-s2n naweeeeee you are the bestest. Love chu. 😍😍
Ha.. well done!! But I would like to know how much time it took you to work out how to put it down 😆😆😍
It only took me 5 to 10 mins. 😂 I'm a pro at these things.. I did cheat and watched another You Tube tutorial. Wad pretty easy. The hardest part was the size.. its so big!
@@i_dig_it_melbourne WELL DONE Champion 💪🏻😍
Well done! I'm impressed but disappointed, you left out the best part, I was waiting for that wrestling match, and it didn't happen😊. Glad it wasn't me, I'd have been there a couple of days just trying to untangle myself! Cheers, now go have a good lay down! Hooroo!
I'm a pro at these things Wayne. I do spray tanning on the side and use a pop up tent so have mastered this over the past 15 years. Lol.. The difficulty was the bloody size.. It looks small but let's just say this thing is actually HUGE!
Wow that’s big !!!
@lisar8347 it's really really big. 😂
The way that popped open, I expected you to be all stuck up against the wall! I don't think I've ever been successful at repacking those types of items, 2 seconds to open it, 3 hrs to repack. Have fun! Cheers!
@waynearmstrong5233 hehehe I thought it was going to knock us over also.. part 2 will come soon. Me packing it up!
@@i_dig_it_melbourne That will definitely be worth the watch, World championship tent wrestling!
@@waynearmstrong5233 🤣🤣🤣
Wow! That’s massive!! Awesome! I really wanted to see you put it back in the packet thing 😆😆😆
@leeclyma stay tunned that's part 2. Hahahah
@@i_dig_it_melbourne 😆😆😆 Can’t wait!! 🍕🍕
Compared to me you look bright eyed and bushy tailed! If I sat still to long, they would figure I was dead and Bury me. Well you eventually said the right word "Gap" You have way to much fun ebaying, but each purchase has a thought out purpose. Even though my car looks like a tornado has been through it most of the time, I have on occasion used plastic shopping bags over my boots for the same job. Next job, wrestling with the tent. Have fun! Cheers!
Cheers Wayne.. you are too funny. I hope they don't bury you...😂 The plastic bags are always a good back up plan too! Cheers thanks for watching.
How long did it take to get to you mate? 😍
Not long at all maybe 1 and half weeks... possibly 2.
@@i_dig_it_melbourne 😮😮 Is that all.. cool
Well I stopped blocking any drains 34 yrs ago, I knew by then that what I had on top was soon to disappear, so I let it grow for about a year uncut, one last hoorah! It got down to the middle of my back. Then I got it shorn like a sheep, and it stayed that way. My father and grandfather used divining rods or Y shaped young branches for hunting for bore water, to pump up. They seemed to always be successful, But as for any other uses, I couldn't say. Ive constantly got my head under the car seats chasing varios items that find there way through that very same gap, a pain, especially when you have to stop the car and get out just to retrieve. I had been thinking of what I could make to do that very same thing. Recommend you try that sleeping mat at home before you go camping with it, just incase you have to add some extra padding. Ill stop there, sorry about the story book edition of a simple comment. Cheers?
Hahaha Wayne I love your novel responses...See there are a few good little nick knacks amongst this haul. 😀
@@i_dig_it_melbourne 😂😂 Novel! Very clever! And yes, there was some very useful items in your collection. Actually, I I don't think there was a wasteful thing amongst them! Cheers!
Great Nick Nacks But the hair thing that goes over the sink is a waste of time , get hubby to take out the S Trap once a month a clean it out lol 😂, I’ve got two daughters and a wife I clean ours once a fortnight 😂😂
The hair thing is for the shower!!!! They are brilliant. 😂
Im still using a regular garden spade, which can end up operating like a pogo stick in some situations, but I get by with it. But the ones you have are better suited to the job!. Sorry! Had to laugh at the magnet doing what its meant to do, but not where its meant to do it! Its time for you to get out there and wear the paint off the new digger! Cheers!
Cheers Wayne. I am enjoying it. It's light and cuts grass smoothly making my holes alot neater!
😂 Oh! Look theres the English instructions! Found at the most inappropriate time! Thats me all over! Although I have found they can sometimes be more confusing than just figuring it out for myself. I dont like the earphones either, they make my ears sweaty and I like to be able to hear whats going on around me. Not likely to be purchasing one, but who doesn't like unpacking a new toy! Cheers!
Cheers Wayne. I feel the same I like to beware of my surroundings at all times.
Be careful not to clean collectable coins, that can actually reduce their value.
Thanks... most definitely... I already ruined some pre decimals with my tumbler.. I learnt that lesson pretty early on. 😌
Good cover story, its seems you got away with the bank job 😊. Cheers!
Im still looking for my first token, well done!
Thanks Wayne you find one at a theme park like this one. Lol
No point in me giving you pointers, by now you've probably got a good handle on it, I'll keep watching your vids to see if theres any updates on your skills, Cheers!
Thanks Wayne... ❤️
Obviously Ive come to the right place, CBK, Lisa R, and Jim, I feel right at home! Looked like a 1948 half penny. Cheers!
Many of those types of hunts I've had, They make the good hunts great. Sorry, Peg tent? 😊
Thanks for watching Wayne. Thumbs down to the tent peg. 😂
G'day Dani! First visit here, Sorry I took so long! Just sub'd, you beat my oldest by 20 years, There's got to be more, have fun! Ill be going back to your beginnings, so expect more comments. Cheers!
Nawe thanks Wayne. Always appreciate people stopping by my channel.. My videos are short so you will get through them pretty quickly.
Nice going Dani on your first silver. Good old one too. Hope you had a good sniff. Well done mate 😁👍
Thanks CBK. I went one further a sniff and a rub. 😂😂😂
So good … well done Dani ! Happy dance !!
Thanks Lisa.... I got there in the end. 😂
Bloody awesome Dani 😍😍
Thanks Lee. ❤❤
An awesome find.
Thank you. Took me a year but so happy. 😊
Hi 👋 I just watched your latest video but couldn’t leave a comment there because it’s set for kids in the comments section, Great day congratulations on your first silver wooohooo,
Thank you im super stoked..😄 I thought I fixed it.. bugger. Let me try again. 😂
LOL Lisa is one of my detecting buddy’s , we’re long overdue for a hunt , She’s awesome
She is an awesome chick. We had a few laughs that day. 😅

Hello I just found your channel, I have seen you on the Minelab Show livestream, I’m just a coin and relic enthusiast but I’ve heard the monster is outstanding on the tiniest bits of gold, have you used it yet and what do you think of it, I’ve seen it for sale at anaconda, cheaper than Miners den, great channel keep it up 👍
Hi 👋, thanks for stopping by, always up for a chat. 😂.. I have only been able to get out and use it once which is a bit sad but also another reason why this budget friendly machine is fit for purpose. I couldn't justify the other machines when I cant get there as often as I would like. I'm happy with the machine though. Check out Keep Hammering Prospecting. Their videos speak for themselves. They are the reason why I purchased it. Ie; it definitely finds gold! Check out ebay also as the place where i got it from are certified minelab dealers and their eBay deals were great given they came with the 2 coils!!! Let me know if you decide to buy and what you think. 😊
Just ordered one myself👍⛏️
Congratulations... Im happy with mine ☺️
I use a light weight shovel too and I have one similar to what coffee bush kid uses. One of my subs from USA sent me. It’s awesome
I was looking at your shovel on your recent video. 😅 You have awesome subbies. 👌
