S&P is wildly undervalued and will be until it gets to P/E of 120
How did you get to that number?
@tradingfundamentals Take the P/E of Bitcoin and divide it by infinity
I swear, The Hidden Path to Manifesting Financial Power is one of the best books I’ve read. It’s life-changing.
I hadn't heard of that but I'll check it out👍
What is your investment plan for 2025, given the state of the S&P 500?
All in into defence stocks
SURPRISE! BOOM! LILLY is getting better Publicity anyways... its greatly priced now !
@@WizeIce1 Haha I like the enthusiasm! I wonder if the news will materialize into profits or if Novo will keep banking on their already popular drugs. Lilly is greatly priced or Novo?
Autozone aggressively buys back their stock too increasing the price for shareholders. 10,000 investment into autozone over the past ten years would be worth $1mil today! Let’s go!!
I know you just get to sit back while shares diminish and price grows! I love to see some math like that. I have a watchlist focused on share reduction. Do you know any other companies with a similar practice?
Novo about to blow up in the next week
I hope it does! Why do you think that?
Catalant deal to secure 3 sites is going to pass in the United States and the results of the new weight loss drug called cagrisema will be out which is suppose to be even better than Eli Lilly mounjaro.
Were there any topics in the video that you thought I should have covered?
Which stock would you rather hold for the next 10 years, Home Depot or Lowe's?
Which high yield dividend stocks are you buying?
Which ETFs are you holding for the long term?
Which stock should I cover next?
Which stocks do you see value in right now?
Which stocks are you watching closely right now?
At 5 minutes and 2 seconds the screen shows an EPS of USD 21:20 last 12 months. In fact the figure is not USD but Danish Krone.
Thanks for the observation. Simply Safe Dividends shows their values in the company's domestic currency (for all the foreign companies I've seen). Seeking Alpha and many others convert their values to USD.
@@tradingfundamentals So the earning per share is USD 21 and the price is USD 105?
@@IsmailHamadFCCA The EPS from SSD is in Danish Krone, the price for NVO is USD.
Nice video. Worth accumulating shares sub $110
Glad you liked it. Sub 110$ seems fair. I could see it coming back down to around 100$.
@ yessir. A lot of heavy resistance around 94 to low 100s. I would like to accumulate 100 shares in that area if possible.
@@fitbh703 I like that buying area as well. That's a sizable chunk of shares, I hope it turns into a big gain!
do you like nvo better than lly?
I haven’t done a deep dive on LLY so I like NVO better partly for that reason. Otherwise, NVO is trading at lower forward and trailing PE, they have a much higher recent EPS growth streak (last three years), NVO’s payout ratio based on EPS and FCF is more consistent, NVO also has far less debt compared to cash and TTM net income than LLY. Technically, NVO is further below the average price over 5 years, while LLY is roughly at the average price.
@tradingfundamentals thanks that helps
Great analysis and video.
Thank you for the support!
Great job 👏👏
Thank you for watching!
We don't invest solely in VAS - the typical mix is VGS/VAS split - 60/40 - rebalanced annually. This mix outperforms the s&p 500 index. There has been periods when the Australian Shares outperformed the Global shares - and when it is rebalanced, that's where we get the growth :) - franking credits help too.
Thanks for sharing your investment strategy as an Australian, I appreciate the insight. Both VGS and VAS have underperformed VOO (S&P 500) over 10 years in terms of total return as of today (VOO - 13.6%, VGS - 12.8% and VAS - 8.9% (CAGR)). Who knows if that will continue, after all the S&P 500 is richly valued while VAS is not. With VGS you basically own the S&P 500 anyway. I'm glad your investments are working out for you and that you're diversified. Franking credits seem like a sweet deal as well as a government strategy to incentivize domestic investment.
@@tradingfundamentals there is an ETF that essentially does this split and rebalances - DHHF.
@@tradingfundamentals also - Australian shares generally go in cycles. The main difference is that Australian companies don’t have the competition that is seen in the US - fighting for market share, reinvesting into the company will lead to share price growth, where as Australian companies are money printing machines and if dividends are reinvested, growth comes from the number of shares held and not the share price. If you have the performance of VOO from 198O to 2023 then we can compare the performance.
@@Yakitoriotaku I don't think the top companies of the S&P 500 have much competition, which is reflected by their current size, but I understand your thinking. Investing for share price growth as opposed to investing for dividends has its own set of risks. Especially considering current S&P 500 valuation. Knowing your investment strategy and objective is important too. The DRIP calculator I use only goes back to 1995 but the total return (includes dividend reinvestment) of the first S&P 500 index fund (VIFINX) since 1976 is 11.5%, annualized.
Very good video. I bought my first nestle stocks at 90€ (herr in Germany), and consider buying 4 more, to have 8 in total but I am a little unsecurr
Thank you! It looks like you got in at a pretty solid time. What makes you feel insecure about buying more?
Thank you. If you look at the Swiss Franck has been gaining value over Euro and US Dollar over the last 10 years. Would make sense considering that when evaluating Nestle company holding in Swiss Frank?
Glad you found value in the video! I haven't looked at those currencies but the increasing relative value is a good point to consider. It makes me think of the benefit of multi currency diversification.
From 2015 to 2018 oil dropped below $50 and they still maintained and grew their dividend. Growth prospects are very scarce here nit at the right price they offer one of the best income based investments. Hoping to get in at a really good price
I'm impressed by their dividend growth and consistency too. Finding value in CVX makes sense here given the lack of value in the market but I just can't get myself to buy it while earnings are good. I also think I'd rather go for MLPX instead. Are you seeing this as a buying point or are you waiting for a cyclical downturn?
Thanks for sharing!
The CEO has said their #1 goal is the dividend and everything else they do is to support the dividend.
That makes sense, I think investors are buying Chevron for the dividend and CEOs like to confirm investor interests. How safe do you think their dividend will be over the next 10 years?
@@tradingfundamentals Very safe. 36 consecutive years of growing its dividend and 112 consecutive years of never cutting its dividend.
@@oppenheim2 That's fair they do have quite the track record and they sell essential products.
I think CVX is a good buy when oil field crashes cause it will come back up. I just bought 20k at this last dip. Just gonna hold till it goes back to 160. Might even buy more if it continues to dip.
I think that's smart to buy during a cyclical downturn. It sounds like you have patience on your side. Priceless.
The stock price is going up.
Yeah, the video is a bit old. I was looking at HSY when they were at recent lows.
How is it risky? On inception in 2014 they started out at $72.02. Now they are at $98.92 and not to mention the dividends.
If you were to watch the video you could see some of the fundamental risks.
Excellent video!
I'm glad to see you watched this one too! Thank you!
Excellent video!
Thank you for watching and sharing your appreciation!
I'm surprised there isn't more attention to MDT
I think the market really values growth right now. Maybe that's part of it.
Medtronic is a great longterm play. Solid earnings history, selling world class medical devices for decades… Buy this Blue Chip stock and rest easy. It’s a bargain right now and ratio’s are right. Full disclosure, I have NO affiliation with this company in any context whatsoever. Regards
I think they are a Blue Chip stock too. I'm sure they'll keep selling medical devices for decades to come. The resting easy component of investing is so important! This video is a bit old by the way.

TD for life!
Haha sounds like you're a proud owner! I just bought TD too🎉
EPS is not "moving in the right direction" considering EPS took a hit whrn they added shares.
13 P/E compared to other banks does not seem particularly cheap? 1.18 P/B is fair value. Would like to see it below book.
It depends where you mark your points in time.
@@Pizza-gb1ch You're right it's not super cheap compared to other Canadian banks but it is still trading at a discount compared to XFN (Canadian Financials ETF) and the S&P (oddly enough the ETF with the most AUM in Canada is an S&P ETF). I'm not a big fan of price to book but I like that you have found a valuation metric that works for you and that you have a buy point based on that.

BROS vid would be interesting too since it sells coffee. Seems not having a lot of store space and employees is good for business model
I think BROS would be interesting too. That is a good business model, it reminds me of Domino's. They are stellar.
Any interest in doing vid on JACK CMG ? Your video on MCD made me feel good about my recent purchase
I probably won't cover JACK since their total liabilities are just so high compared to their TTM net income. Chipotle would be interesting though! I'm glad you feel good about MCD. Franchised businesses are like one way valves for shareholders and it looks like you caught the recent low.
@@tradingfundamentalsyea I hope I caught a near low at 259 with MCD. Thanks for the heads up on JACK liabilities. Makes sense why their valuation is so low when based off market cap. It’s not as good when Enterprise Value is used
Started my HD position at $325.00, very happy with this entry 😏
I'm glad you feel good about your buying point! I wonder if HD will hold the price level it's at. Solid long term buy either way.
Going to start getting into Lowe’s once it drops this October
Mondelez looks better than hershey
Mondelez is a solid company! I compared Mondelez to Nestle in my Nestle stock analysis video.
Thanks for this research! Sephora is owned by LVMH which IS publicly traddd
Wow, my quick google search failed me. Thanks for letting me know! At least they are still quite different businesses. Thank you for watching!
Technically, u were right. Sephora is not publicly traded. And your point was well taken; it would be beyond the scope of this brief vid to compare Sephora's data.
@@Pizza-gb1ch Thanks for your thoughts. I've found a lot of companies like that, where they are never quite a true side by side comparison. Like Pepsi and Coke for example, being that Pepsi is primarily a food company based on revenue (last time I checked their 10 k).
Most of their liability is leases which isn't valued the same as Debt or AP. Good job!
Thank you for the compliment, it means a lot! It sounds like you've done your research👏
AGCO is a competitor
True, they do sell some of the same products but the market cap of DE is 109 billion while AGCO is 8 billion so by scale I think they're incomparable.
