Can you tell us the purpose of this dance?
The rare dance performed in this video is the dance you would see at a funeral, especially at the time of "Sky burial". The lamas with their dance, song, horns and drums, are used to call in the vultures for ‘sky burial.’ But these days, the locals of Dolpo don't practice "Sky burial" and the above dance was performed in the year 2019 at the time of the Inauguration Ceremony of the big Stupa you could see in the video, just to exhibit the culture of Dolpo.

I want to visit Dolpo. Please tell me when is the best time of the year to go there.
The best time to visit is June to September if you want to see the greenery of the valley.
I don't which is more beautiful the dance or the scenery!!!
Why not both they are equally gorgeous especially seeing a culture survive
