I'm just buying one. The older gentleman can't ride it. Thanks for the info. 👍
Look kid that comment about you wu tkkb b bglruth Locate somebody wants to hear you Baker equipment well bitching about the s*** you do have
Great video 💯
I'm a lil over 300mi on my T42 now. I adjusted my settings! Tire size fixed the speedometer. I have PAS 0-5 set at 20%, 35%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Raised my max from 45K to 51K. Throttle is 100% regardless of PAS level. I added a Cloud 9 seat and Suntour NCX suspension seatpost. My ride is much smoother now! Setting vid: th-cam.com/video/8y6T_PizYdw/w-d-xo.html
Got my T42 Nov 2022 and still love it after 300 miles! Sad that G-Force dropped the T42 model in Jan 2023. EUY NXB is similar but not as fast as the T42, But still, a good entry level price...
Bro u should do a comparison on the gforce t42 vs lectric 3.0 stronger, faster and how far they would go Unlocked speeds
Is the speed/throttle interchangeable from left side to right side of the handlebar ? Left side wouldn’t seem right as I’ve been used to dirt bikes and throttle always being on the right side ?
And the frame cracking where it folds like another user shared with pics on its amazon review.
The problem you had with the steering when you hit the brakes and it all getting loose is very common on chinese motorcycles. Always tighten them with a flat head and a hammer on mine. Not sure how those work, have to rewatch this video
Great video man!! Do you know wich brand is the motor? And the battery is confirmed a Samsung One like the 21700 50E ???
Anybody know the manufacturer of that 750 motor?
Hello Thank you for information. Could you tell me plz. This bike is allow to ride in the uk road?
You need THE T5 (new mountain bike version!!!) same bike (heavier) but WAY MORE POWER AND SPEED. Someone stole my t42. But bro. Get the t5. I see where you live and living at the beach. I have a drive over bridges. I deal with the same thing every day. Trust me I’ve had the new bike up to 42 mph in features back dual shocks. Mountain bike handles, metal foot pegs front basket option backseat option. For ONLY 1300. Get the bike yall. It’s more than worth it!!!!
So sorry you got it stolen ive had 2 ebikes stolen and it still fucks me off now
Great review!!! My bike will be here tomorrow; and the little tips about the suspension and the level on 1 is very helpful. Especially for a 1st e-bike rider.
Does anyone have the folding dimensions for this bike?
31.5" by 39.5"
I thought your nails were pretty! Not! Good video
Bikes only go far and fast because of the freaking battery guys. Why does Noone talk about them in ebike videos. It's really irritating.
Battery capacity?
A month later, my T42 has changed. It first got reprogrammed with 5 PAS levels. PAS-1-5: 20%, 35%, 50%. 75%. 100%. My tires are 22" O.D. so I reset tire size to 22". I set max spd to 51K. Next, I added a Cloud 9 seat and my butt is happier. Rock Bros rack-bag is sweet. YESTERDAY I took my GF for her 1st trailride... WOW!!! PAS 1 and 2 on narrow trails, twisty turns, radical terrain made me slap the throttle to launch over some steep inclines! Loved the hydraulic brakes in emergency stops, and after an hour, my 11.2 AH battery didn't lose 1 bar. CONS: Need some felt for the battery case... Needs better pedals for mountain biking... BMX handlebars are on my want list as well. Settings start at 7:45 th-cam.com/video/6nC3ycn13lQ/w-d-xo.html
Bike is 67 lbs, trust me, I used a Publix scale at the front of there store.
If I wanted to replace the seat, could I?
I actually prefer this video vs one filmed with a highly motion stabilized camera and too much post production - as yours reveals the actual ride experience and demonstrates the effectiveness of the bikes shock absobers
New T42 is Here! Unfortunately, the metal connecting the lower left and right forks is bent and the forks are different lengths. Anyone have any suggestions?

If you reduce the wheel diameter an inch or two it will fix your speedometer issue. Ie. If it's on 22in reduce to 20in then check with your phone app and see if it's more accurate. However this may make the distance print low. For example on my e-bike if I put it on 27.5 in the odometer is dead on but the speedometer is printing 2km/h high. If I set it to 26 in diameter the speedomter is dead on but the odometer prints low. You can decide for yourself which is more important. Maybe split the difference and make the speedometer a little more accurate and the odometer a little less. Look up "Friend Electric Bike Best Settings"(it uses the same display) to look on how to unlock the settings to change wheel diameter. You can also make the power assist levels to 5 instead of 3 which gives you more control.
Thanks for the great info!
@@nkgpe-bikereviews6060 Also the max speed settings are in there...but...I cannot confirm or deny that they may be changed. :-). Nope, nothing to see here.
@@chrissinclair8705 So how fast did you get it? Lol. Thanks for the info!
@@CjhEjdl Well once I wired the unlocked display I was getting around 34.5km/h or so which around 22mph? I added a 52v battery mainly for the range increase and extra torque rather than speed, but it gave me another 2 mph or more depending on the battery state charge. The biggest hurdle is the controller which is integrated so for me to change it out I would have to redo the entire wiring harness. The good thing about these Gotrax motors is they are built for torque not speed. So yes you'll be going 20-25 however when a hill comes up you will still be able to maintain that speed. I can outclimb my friends 750w ebike because I have 2 factors on my side. Weight and the gearing of the hub motor. So yes they can be "overclocked" for a very reasonable price, but is that what you need or want? It's really up to you. Maybe for fun I'll do a video on my tech channel explaining what was done if you wish just so you have an idea of what's going on. If you click my name I have a few videos up there of using a programable DC to DC boost converter charging my ebike including using USB to charge your ebike. If it's a viewer request than absolutely I will make a video if you wish explaining step by step how to get a little more performance out of your bike. As far as the Gotrax bikes. You're getting a very solid bike however there are issues. Yes you're getting a torquey motor, Yes you're getting a solid bike. However there are many more options available now. My recommendation is DON'T by anything without doing research first. If I had to do it all again, I probably not have bought the Gotrax. There is more reasonalbly priced ebikes out there that should fit your needs if you wish. DO THE RESEARCH. Then you'll be fine.
They sell this bike on Amazon and the 11.2ah version is $1199 - $300 coupon = $899. Plus a $39 delivery fee. Good job on your first video. Keep it up. Amazon has the weight at 67 lbs.
G-Force website is $899 for the 11.2ah, free S/H and No Tax... Saved me $120 And the $50 'MCINTOSH' discount helped too! I love my little $849 GF T42 💙
Yeah I also bought this on Amazon, said my package arrived didn't arrive (3 days late) so I got refunded and but alas my bike showed up via a usps not amazon truck so I also got the bike free 🤗, my dumbass had enough money to buy another buy so I dual battery with the cable I bought for it, but my dumbass sparked the discharge connectors backwards and they melted together lol so now new parts and waiting for battery til then 😅
@@LoLErMan13 I did the math and saved $120 over Amazon... As for dual batteries, Take much care to maintain polarity on the cables... Fault-current discharges will destroy Li-ion batteries... Good time for inline fuses to prevent fatal sparks...
@@johnw65 I just use the 40$ dual battery controller connector from Amazon
@@LoLErMan13 Did you mount your 2nd battery on the rear rack? And have you done anything about the factory battery-rattle yet?
Hey I was wondering if you could help my G-Force t42 I'm wondering if there's a way to alter the way that the motor kicks in when I step on the pedal I'm at a stop sign or a red light and I'm just resting my foot on the pedal and it might move maybe a quarter turn and the engine kicks in and a couple times I've gone flying out in the road I was wondering if there's some way to adjust that in the display can you help thanks bro
Hold the brake at all stops! Cadence PAS will activate easily.
You must’ve never seen a coastal Carolina sunset. 😅
Is that like the California coastal sunrises?
I’m not sure where you found that the weight is 120? Mine is closer to 65? I do have the smaller lighter battery, but I can’t quite see where the battery weight differs by that much. At 120 I don’t think I would want to try packing it into the trunk of my car. Maybe the weight capacity on the rack is 120? Just guessing here though.
I remove the battery leaving 55# to lift into the car, Made any mods on your bike yet?
@@johnw65 I haven’t. I don’t ride it enough yet to determine what I might want or need. I have made some adjustments to the system to add speed settings, but nothing major yet. I would like to do something to the kickstand that is too far forward in my opinion. It’s probably fine for people that ride on their arches, but I ride on the balls of my feet, which causes the heels of my massive feet to strike the kickstand. I have to angle my foot out a little to alleviate the problem for now, but it’s an odd feel for me. I did look into a shock absorbing seat post, but at a quarter of the price of the bike it seems a bit overpriced?
@@CaseDadToo I saw another post about a guy with big feet who got a larger set of pedals and some threaded pedal extensions that set them out 3/4 inch, thus widening his stance by an inch and a half and giving him more pedaling room for about $20 or so...
@@johnw65 I kind of like the folding pedals so i hadn’t even thought about getting a wider pedal. Since i currently just turn my feet out a little, wider pedals are definitely a good solution to the problem. Thanks for the idea.
@@CaseDadToo I saw it in the comments under a BeeCool Challenger video. Someone solved the knees hitting the tank by using the pedal spacers and bigger pedals. I thought it might help your problem too
Your speed is set to kph, just sayin
No it’s not
@@nkgpe-bikereviews6060 in your video your display showed kph not mph but what do I know right?

Hi head over to my channel johnny ebikes ta see my ebike very similar your own ebike
I'd say wear at least a helmet with chin protection going that fast but it does look like an amazing value ebike
I have one with chin protection for riding to work at 4am!
the sound it has is very annoying, you know what it is or did you repair it? I bought one but it hasn't arrived yet
That’s just the sound. It’s definitely loud
30 miles per hour! Wow!
Nice! What’s your top speed throttle only and pedal assist?
Throttle only gets me to my top speed on pedal assist level three which is about 32mph.
@@nkgpe-bikereviews6060 wow that’s pretty fast? Which battery did you get?

Man i loved your vid. Looking at this bike to order. Your vid was informative and well shown. I must say sitting here sipping on wikd turkey honey you killed it when you said you about ate sh%$ keep posting. Thanks
Thank you for the good words!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Did you get one in the sale?
Good look around that bike.. Looks beefier than some folding bikes.
I like the rims and the fact it has a dual sided sprocket guard. Also a nice derail guard for drops. The bike has good ground clearance too.
Hmm... You could probably do a bar upgrade one day.. Maybe 4 inches longer would be good to add 2 more mounts? Or change grips to be a bit shorter ? Those grips are extra long I see. Get adjustable shorter brake levers and save space with shorter grips maybe.
I like the idea!
This battery is not 50% of this bike. It's a no name battery. Probably 300-350 at most for this one. I would say 1/3 of the price usually not 50%.
Hey bud I got a question to ask you do you know the size of that front sprocket that's on your G-Force t42 I've got one and I think they send it to me with the front sprocket bent because it wobbles a lot while I'm pedaling it it doesn't slip the chain but it looks like it's wobbling so would you know the size of that
Does it have a lock ?
Just on the battery
@@TheUnreliableNarrator64 correct
Hi, nice video, I want to know if you would be kind enough to give me the battery details. I want to know the size of the battery casing. Length x width x depth. I was told that it is 430*x 103*x 43mm in another TH-cam video, but when I check with the battery manufacturers, they say that the maximum capacity you can have for that size casing is 14Ah. I did try to get some info from G-Force but no luck yet. Appreciate very much if you can just give me the measurement of the battery, you may have to remove and take the measurements. Thank you.
On their website they show they go up to a 20 amp hour battery
That’s quick it’s about32 mph flat out,I’ve ordered the yamee fat bear 750 s and that should do about 27 mph Good review anyway
You liking your Yamee?
Hey bud I got a question to ask you when you put your front tire on your bike and use the rod through it and then tightened it down how tight did you tighten that can you over tighten that or do you just tight IT snug or how did you do it cuz it seems like I've got a lot of squeaky coming off the front brakes and I'm wondering if I've got mine too tight
The screw on the end of the rod should be about “finger tight” meaning tight enough that you can’t screw it in more with your fingers but not tight to the point of you can’t even tighten it more with a tool.
thank you
Hey guys - got mine recently and love it - 2 things though: I hear a light scraping sound when I'm not hitting the gas (elec). Don't see what would be scraping but maybe a rear brake ??? Second, Cruise control (holding it down for 5+ secs doesn't always work). Wonder if there is a more consistent way to get it to kick in. Thanks and enjoy - know i am!!!
The light scraping sound is probably the rear brake pad rubbing slightly under torque. Just adjust it so it doesn't scrape.
