My mother had a miscarriage before I was born and died of cancer. I was born in the Naval Hospital in Camp LeJeune in 1960 and man, it's been a helluva ride. The stories that will probably never be told. God Bless All Marines! My Dad had breast cancer. My sister had polio and died of heart failure after a vaccine and my brother died of a brain aneurysm. And me, ha ha. I'm glad I got a computer.

What was done to study whether the toxins affected the residents outside of the camp, a few miles away? How were the toxins contained only at Camp LeJeune? What kind of experts study the spread of toxic dumps like this who could answer that?

There is a major flaw in the Pact Act between the VA and Discharge Review Board! The VA is denying claims for Veterans from the Vietnam Era who got OTH Discharges from Neurobehavioral Problems from the Toxins at Camp Lejeune. Seems that at the time i was stationed at Camp lejeune 1972-1975 3 years which should be considered "long term exposure". The VA will not treat you unless you have a discharge upgrade from an OTH Discharge. But here is the flaw - THe review Board has a 15 year limitation on discharge reviews written in stone, no exceptions! So veterans who are sick from the toxins now cannot get any treatment or compensation because the review board will not upgrade the discharge for vietnam era veterans to get treated! i consider that bullshit and that 15 year limitation should be lifted so that veterans who had no idea they were exposed 48 years later! Seems the marine Corps doesn't want to own up to those situations when they started kicking Marines out back then to clean up Camp Lejeune of all the violence, drug addictions, theft, fights, murders that was happening on base. They are acting like the water did not cause those conditions in the environment of the toxic kool aid they were serving! It's a God Damm disgrace that they are using the 15 year limitation to screw veterans over from getting treated with the pact act and deny them monetary disability because of the ancient laws that the review board is basing their decisions for the upgrades! vietnam era vets are still being discriminated 48 years later!!!

You guys are rotten people for winning all them years to give their lawsuit when you can see that they were suffering now they're not around anymore and they suffered it wasn't even you know money can't even buy the suffering that they went through but waiting too long to 8 or whatever is just beyond me

What if it's not on the presumptive illness list but the VA has already determined it service connected and granted 100% service connected disability? The disease is ALS.

I as well as my brother both stationed at LeJeune during the time frame, both diagnosed with prostate cancer (with no family history of cancer). I too was diagnosed by the VA, treated and am still being treated by the VA, and it was placed in my official VA file that, "the PROVABLE" cause of this patient's cancer is the Camp LeJeune Water Contamination. Even with that the Dept. of the Navy/ D.O.J. is still not recognizing Prostate Cancer as an illness caused by the Water Contamination.

You guys are upset me even though I'm not even in this lawsuit before winning all them years and then I don't even know my my family tree from camp lejeune but from how they waited so long and now they have the lawsuit you can only look if they have living relatives to give that money to them that's sad that those people suffer and didn't get their money is there any military for so many times they called me over camp lejeune and I had nothing camp lejeune and I'm said I didn't even know about the California's waters are polluted the Air zone from what about these people have wildfires going on

I was stationed at Camp Lejeune for 3 years (1975-79) with a year in Okinawa then returned to Camp Lejeune, This last 2 years the VA has been treating me for "lung nodules", the initieal diagnosis was lung cancer, now the nodules seem to be fading.

Get an MGUS test! As MGUS is the presumed link between drinking and bathing in the water of Camp Lejuene. I know as my MGUS is positive and so I filed on my own and it was reviewed by the court as a legitimate claim.

How about discussing the behavioral issues associated with the toxins. where Marines were kicked out with OTH Discharges because of behavioral issues! The Commanding generals solution with the crazy Marines affected by the toxins was to kick them out for being recidivists according to the General! The CDC did a clinical study on the Neurobehavioral effects on the brain because of the levels of toxins. I was stationed in Camp Lejeune for 3 years during the Toxic Water issue, Marines were acting crazy on base including Non Com's and Officers in the decision making on base charging Marines for stupid charges causing them to get Bad Discharges. I am one of those victims. Tried 3 times to get my discharge reviewed and 3 times denied, in fact was told that I deserved it by the review board back in 2004, from my last review attempt. But Here is what I found this year Jan 2023 in Clinical Studies which led to behavioral effects during my stay at Camp Lejeune. In my Medical Records it shows that I complained of Headaches, nausea, Insomnia, blood in Urine, etc. I now have nodules on my lungs, enlarged spleen, Cirrhosis of the liver, 20% lung Capacity, Hypertension, Persistent Cough for the last 15 years.I have yet to be acknowledged by the VA because of my discharge. We were under the influence of the toxins in the water, everybody on base was including the commanding General who was approving all the Bad Discharges not realizing that the water was the culprit .Here are the findings: The Department of Veterans Affairs and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have linked toxic chemicals found in contaminated Camp Lejeune water to neurobehavioral effects. In fact, the VA provides health and compensation benefits for veterans who suffered neurological effects after being stationed at Camp Lejeune from the 1950s to early 1980s. Exposure for longer periods to low levels of tetrachloroethylene may cause changes in mood, memory, attention, reaction time, and vision. Studies in animals exposed to tetrachloroethylene have shown liver and kidney effects, and changes in brain chemistry, but we do not know what these findings mean for humans. The four main toxic chemicals in the Camp Lejeune water supply were trichloroethylene (TCE), perchloroethylene (PCE), benzene and vinyl chloride. According to one study published in Environmental Research, “long-term exposure to low concentrations of TCE is associated with neurobehavioral deficits.” On average, Marine or Navy personnel were stationed at Camp Lejeune for about 18 months. The maximum safe contaminant levels for TCE in drinking water is 5 parts per billion (parts per billion). Levels of TCE in contaminated Camp Lejeune water plants was an average of 366 ppb. Levels of perchloroethylene (PCE), benzene and vinyl chloride were also far above safe limits. Marines at Camp Lejeune could have consumed as much as one to two quarts of water an hour and showered twice per day during training, according to a Camp Lejeune report from the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry. Symptoms of Neurobehavioral Effects People with neurobehavioral effects typically report experiencing changes in mood, personality, attention and memory. Other neurological effects manifest as motor dysfunction, including coordination or balance problems. Certain chemicals can seriously affect the part of the brain that controls motor function and cause tremors, ticks and even Parkinson’s disease. Symptoms of neurological effects include: *Anxiety *Changes in mood or personality *Confusion *Depression *Dizziness *Fatigue *Headaches *Insomnia Involuntary muscle movements (dystonia or dyskinesia) *Irritability Learning disorders *Memory problems *Motor problems (balance, coordination, etc.) Parkinson’s disease *Poor concentration *Tension Tremors * Shows symptoms which I had and complained about at sickbay and nothing was done or researched as to the cause at that time. I was titled as a Recidivist By The Commanding General in a signed letter to JAG for my GOS Discharge, for being a "Toxic Zombie"! Found all this out after 48 years of being denied jobs, medical assistance from the VA, because of "Bad Paper Prejudice". I want justice and to have my case cleared and made right by the review Board and the VA. My medical records show that I complained of most of the symptoms listed back in the seventies and nothing has been done! I filed for a review once again this week with what I found out recently, I have had to deal with all this for the last 48 years, still bothers me greatly! This part of the Camp Lejeune issue needs to be addressed for all the Marines kicked out the Corps in the 70's!

Imagine a Government who deliberately poisoned a million people like me who went through Camp Lejeune treating us all like lab animals just to study the various stages of cancer? I am 76 years old the called me Doc and it is not a Conspiracy when it is real. I am relatively healthy and treated my self with 100 percent natural material from God’s Green earth. I now only have 30 percent chance of ever getting cancer. All the new drugs the FDA approved of are all bullshit research costing American Billions. When simple an Apple a day keeps cancer away God Truth ❤️

This is a very informative video. I agree it is almost always advisable to retain an expert who has forensic training. Some cases would require a physician expert. A forensic psychiatrist who is also board-certified in Brain Injury Medicine would be a good fit. For more: www.forensicpsychiatrynow.com/brain-injury-medicine/
