    Teacher, just kick the global-warming nonsense and focus on the empirical evidence.

    You say that life was not possible when there was no oxygen in the atmosphere hence no ozone layer to protect life on EARTH. However, there was life in the absence of ozone layer since 10 m of water suffice to filter UV light from the sun. A few milimeters on a damp soil does the same to protect against UV.

    So the warming oceans produce co2. Has anybodies measured or calculated this quantity? What was the temperature differential in your experiment

  • @electricdreamer
    @electricdreamer ปีที่แล้ว

    Wow. Do you realize that this experiment just disproved CO2's effect on global warming? It's clearly the other way around. It's the global warming that's causing more CO2 in the air. Why? Cold water holds more CO2; warm water holds less CO2. It means when the Ocean is warm, it won't hold as much CO2, so there is more CO2 in the atmosphere. It's not that it's CO2 that's causing the rise of temperature but that the rise of temperature is causing the Ocean to let go of more CO2 into the atmosphere. And what's causing the Ocean to get warm? The sun. The rise of solar activities causes the Ocean to become warm, and when the ocean becomes warm, it lets go of more CO2 into the air. So any claim that human CO2 is responsible for global warming is dubious.

    So is this why cold sodas feel more carbonated and fizz a lot less when you open them than a warm soda???

      Absolutely right.

  • @jasoncassidy492

    It's understood that CO2 is absorbed better by cold water. The question is, with the atmosphere being comprised of only 0.04% CO2 and the oceans being as immense as they are, how much can this trace amount of CO2 affect ocean acidity? Not a significant amount. I'd venture. It's the same for the idea that a trace gas can warm the atmosphere. The Ideal Gas Law makes it clear that CO2 can warm the atmosphere no more than it's mass percent, about 0.04C per 1C warming of the atmosphere.

But now it's not working ( I think after I took the objective lens away from the slide by using the coarse adjustment, after sometime it got out of control) plz help in resolving the issue, it's a sincere request 🙏🙏🙏

    This experiment proves that CO2 in the atmosphere is increased by the sun. The oceans hold nearly 96% of the earth's CO2. When the sun warms the ocean, more CO2 is released into the atmosphere. Validation to the scienctists who use earth core samples and the real Data Al Gore shifted to tell his lie. They know CO2 increase in our atmosphere FOLLOWS global warming from the sun. Co2 does not precede nor cause global warming, it FOLLOWs it. Just in time for the spring flowers and green plants who NEED CO2 to grow and make our food! Sun helps them get their needed CO2 on time! God knew what he was doing. We know what you are doing lady, not asking kids to think, just giving them the narrative which is leftist propaganda. Stop lying please!

    Hi! Great experiment and very well explained. I just wish that the results had been shown after the tablets had time to dissolve completely. Reactions normally happen faster at higher temperatures, so it would make sense for the hot water to dissolve the alkaseltser much faster than the cold, which could have created a much larger difference in the volume of gas at the start. Another possible issue is that because the tablet in the hot water dissolved so much faster than in the cold water, it might have less time to dissolve the co2.

    • @bruceallen6492
      @bruceallen6492 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The demo only addresses "hot" and "cold" water when it should address salt water at typical temperatures and amounts of salt water found in the oceans. Also, it appears to not address the natural diffusion of the carbon dioxide into the salt water at atmospheric conditions. The carbon dioxide was forced into the water by its phase change!

    • @bruceallen6492
      @bruceallen6492 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, there are some chemical reactions that are neglected which increases the salt water solubility continue to accept more carbon dioxide.
