This chocolate cake recipe is easy and simple to make. You don’t need scales to make this tasty cake with simple cream with only 2 ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 cup (200ml) buttermilk, room t
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs (room t)
pinch of salt
1 cup caster sugar
40ml (1/5 cup) vegetable oil
1 cup self-raising flour
2 full tablespoons cocoa powder
Bake in preheated to 170*C (340*F) oven for 40-45 minutes or until ready when checked with the toothpick.
Cup size - 200ml.
Cream:
350g sour cream
300g caramel

I put all ingredients in a bowl and mix it with fork..no need of a mixer. Add chopped nuts and raisins. Really nice cookies. Thank you.
I am wondering if the apples get really soft? I would not like the apples to be hard at all. I also wish they would convert the measurements into what we use here in America. Thank you.
She did in the description below. Just hit the 'more' in blue to get amounts. 14g of baking power is between 1/2 to 1 tablespoon. I would use 1/2 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon = 14g. But you can also duckduckgo it. 👍

Very disappointed with this recipe. I just made it and the flavor is not that impressive, very bland. The texture is clumpy and doughy. The cookies did not turn golden brown, but were a pale color and burnt on the bottom. I purposely lowered the temperature when I saw that the top of the cookie was pale and the bottom was already nearing getting burned. They never turned golden brown. Will not make this again.

You can add 1/4 tsp vanilla extract or/and natural yogurt

I’ve never seen anyone combine ingredients like this. The eggs should go in one at a time later. The dry ingredients should be combined and then added.
More of a biscuit than cookie. Just made them and they taste very bland. I'll add butter and maybe some jam and have with coffee, but this recipe needs some additional ingredients to have any flavor.

So how about I make spiced apples and then add them to the mix ? Would that interfere with the cooking or anything at all?
It’s a basic dough recipe so you can add spices you like, vanilla, cinnamon etc. Even replace part of the apples with sultanas, dried cranberries
Thank you. Changed the recipe a bit. I made the double amount of the dough but only used 230 g sugar plus Vanille sugar, 500 g of flour, 14 grams of baking powder (Backin, Dr. Oetker) Added 2 handful raisins. They came out lighter than my first, the original recipe, batch. It's a good, basic dough to play around with. Kind regards
