Ul'dah has been my hometown for 10 years. I was unable to play the game for two years until just recently bc of major life upheaval, and this remix helped me sleep just about every night. Whenever I got restless or felt homesick for this game, I'd come here. The in-game sounds like mail coming through, errors, menu clicks, and such really made it feel that much more lifelike/lived in than the regular OST track, and the lo-fi remix kept it chill instead of inspiring me to pine for what I couldn't access. I was able to pretend that I'd just left the game running while I handled other things AFK for a bit. Anyways, just wanted to thank you profusely for it. I've been able to log in again this month, but I don't forget how this track is what tided me over until this moment, and I still come back to it. It astounds me that a person can grieve over a video game, and amazes me that music can help stem the tide and redirect that flow. Cheers.

I know this is late as heck, but the Sharlayan part was actually made into a song. Spoilers for anyone who has not done EW yet, but The full song is the second phase music of the last 6.0 Trial Boss called "With Hearts Aligned". The Sharlayan part is about 40 seconds in the whole 2 minute loop, which is what this mix is after of course. Just mentioning it as it is the "official" song that includes the Sharlayan part, in case you didn't know for the title!

This is my favourite song in Final Fantasy 14! It is for egg time! Egg time is very important because eggs have amazing surprises! They have friends and chocolate and toys and yum inside! You can also paint eggs 🥚and they are very pretty! Eggs are round and very good!
