Hi! Yes, absolutely! I will say it attracts lint and if you have a pet that sheds it may be hard to keep clean. I have a dog that doesn't shed and I just go over it with a lint roller occasionally. I did purchase the lighter color recently, they have a tan and white too, and it is definetly is less maintenance. I dont worry about the lighter color as much...although the black looks so chic, that I feel its worth the effort. But that is just me! I hope that was helpful! I go over mine with a soft fabric brush or lint roller as needed. I also occasionally spay "pooph" on them to freshen them up. Its fragrance free and freshens the material without any harsh chemicals...I get it off Amazon. Its marketed as a dog odor eliminator but it is absolutely amazing and has so many uses beyond that!
