Summer 2021 while in Breckenridge, Colorado back, we headed up to Buena Vista, CO. for whitewater rafting on the Arkansas River with Performance Tours. We had a blast. Summer Dog Sledding in Breckenridge, CO.

Our daughter is in love with huskies so when we read about summer dog sledding with Good Times Adventures in Breckenridge this summer we had to check it out. We're so glad we did. We spent time touring the kennels meeting the dogs then went on a couple mile sled/golf cart ride. The guides were so friendly and knowledgable. We had a great time!

Cleghorn to Big Bear-Holcomb Valley

A beautiful spring day cruising around Holcomb Valley near Big Bear in my Tacoma. I started off on Cleghorn Ridge Friday night. That's where the opening shot is from. The rest is from Sunday afternoon in Holcomb Valley. Lots of great easy trails to cruise around on. I wasn't trying the harder trails in my stock rig. Someday...For now just wheeling around in the mud and dirt.

The Mohave Road Trailer

Spring 2018 Our expedition across the Mohave Road to Lake Mohave then back down to Joshua Tree and finally up to Big Bear. An 8 day epic adventure.
I when down on my stock Lexus 570 2019 and it was scary. I don’t seeing me coming up hahahah
Forest service has it closed for a bit. Someone rolled and caught the hillside on fire. After several rollovers I don't think they'll reopen it anytime soon.

Drove to this a few weeks ago. Took one look and knew my R51 Pathfinder wasn't going to make it up. That locker is beast mode.
The rains really did a number on it this winter. The washouts definitely got deeper.
My son has an FJ with a manual trans and 3 locking diffs. The thing is a beast! Mine is a 22 Power Wagon.

Were your lockers on for a majority of those steep climbs?
Yes. Since then I use them less.
Would love to join you guys on the next run...wife and i are afraid to go by ourselves and dont really have any off-roading buddies. We have a 2020 Jeep grand Cherokee trail Hawk and are dying to use it! We live right there in Santa Clarita! :)
Hi Matt. We're going next Saturday, 8/14. Hit us up on Instagram Golden_State_Offroad. Since making this video a couple friends I formed the Club. We'd love to have you join us. We're actually starting on San Franisiquito and doing Rowher Flat then Drinkwater. We go out regularly. We have recovery gear and decent experience. We have winch too. Used it yesterday in fact.
Did you guys deflate the tires before entering the trail?
Yes. We always do when we off-road. The only time we don't is when we're on a fire road.
Stock tacoma doing really good
Thanks! I've thrown a 2" lift and 33" tires on since then. Now it's doing even better!

Hey there! Hoping to do this trail today. So I get how to get there via francisquito canyon but once inside where do you go? I see there are a couple forks
Hey. Just saw your comment. Sorry I didn't see it when you posted. Did you run the trail? There are a couple options up there. Basically there are two off road trails when you get up the initial hill climbs. Both eventually get you all the way over to Bouquet Canyon.
All around good: good driving, good filming and good editing!
