The Views are obstructed but it is a beautiful place and in the winter i am pretty sure the views will be much better with the leafs off the trees., Its a relaxing place for sure. Thanks for watching.

My wife and i love the Mountains, and the coast and we go to either every chance we Get. I would really love to visit your coast its beautiful.

It's really good views but the elevation it's so bad. Just a steep coming up past the club house but nothing how it is to get to the cabins

It is a little steep but i didn't have any problems.

I love a good springs, The fountains is a great place.

It's one of the actual timeshare properties through Bluegreen who's now brought out by Hilton just recently.

I guess you could call it that, or a vacation club. I haven't heard about Hilton buying it out. I'm late hearing about most things.

I thank that use to be Adams Park. It's been many moons since I been there. but I remember it being nice. A popular parking place back in the day.

Thats interesting, have you visited the area here? There was a spot where a slave house was supposed to be but it is no longer there. I did manage to find the cemetery and a mill ruins that was near by,. The info I could find was in the Historical society and on the net of the area but it was general. If there is more in-depth information I don't know where it is. I found most of what I was looking for, except for a couple mill they had so I moved on. Thanks for watching and reaching out. It goes far back as the Indians in the area. If you have more information I would be interested.

Time will tell, There is no signal of any kind there now in the camp ground, phone service is almost nothing. BUT, it is a beautiful place.

We like Red Top mountain St Park. unfortunate the lake side camping is much like Stone Mt. you cant get close to the lake with a RV. But It has a draw for us.

Thanks for visiting, always glad to meet new friends. East Point is just outside Atlanta near the airport. It is a very old city and people through the years have planted so many sharp and flowers that bloom in the spring and makes it very beautiful. I subbed your channel.

Is there anyway to get down there by the waterfall to take pictures

You can get there, but it is really grown up you could wade up the creek, however you can get close enough to get a picture and I will be happy to go with you.

I would love to do that but I am in Gatlinburg Tn. till Monday. Is Rose going to be here longer or is she going on to Florida. If you want to we can try one day next week.

I think there are some of the Connally family still around somewhere,. I saw a video recently that had some current relatives in it. But no one takes care of the cemetery.

@@pickenupthepieces8843 I'm descended from the Connallys who owned the plantation at East Point. From what I understand, the majority of the family moved to Texas after the Civil War. I was born, and still live, in New Zealand, so I'm a couple more migrations removed from Georgia and have never been there personally. It was great to watch your video and see a part of my family history. Hopefully someone will show the cemetery some love and preserve what remains. I appreciate your work!

Paul, I live in this area of the Connally grave yard, where the Connally Grist mill was and also the Connally Saw mill. I was llooking for the ruins of the mills and found the ruins of the Grist mill but unfortanely the Saw mill ruins were destroyed hen they built a highway through it. The location of the plantation is a bout a half mile from here and some other things I haven't yet found or either there is no longer any trace of it, such as slave houses and other things like that. I did a video on the Grist mill ruins if you want to check it out. Thanks for watching

I don't know a lot about this family, I live off a street here in a burb of Atlanta called called Connally in East Point, I decided to do a little digging and came across this grave yard near my house, There is the ruins of a Connally Gris mull here on a near by creek, and I found the location of the Connally Plantation, I also found out the original Connally acquired the land from the Indians. I don't know any more than that. There is a link above in the description to the East Point Historical Society. It might give you more info you are looking for You can also contact then on Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM. Hope this helps.

Very possibly Jim, if it is that is very unusual for a city to be that close. However those trees are very old. Check our my videos on the Connally Cemetery, we found one grave dated in the 1700's. Gilbert Plantation 2238 Perkerson Rd Gilbert family plots 2840 Metropolitan pkwy Then right off of the Cleveland Ave exit on 75 you’ll see some graves. Those are what’s left of some of the slaves there’s also another part of it left on Cleveland Ave at Roseland Cemetery right diagonally across from Walmart. I’ll post a link for you under here
