Great two part video wish i was 30 years younger, in the first video you said you were running a liner in your boot can you explain what that is for me a different pair socks or what exactly is it… beautiful Ram and my do they blend in and hard to see. I had started watching this a while back and got I interrupted and finally found it again now a sub so will see all your stuff… what make of water filtration are you running?
sorry for the delayed response ... it was hunting season. I used the lorpen t2 liner sock with a pair of darn tough socks. I think the darn toughs were a boot height, full cushion. Before the hunt, I trained on a 2000 vertical ft hiking trail. I changed socks and boots on that hike 6 or 7 times. Best option every time was the darn tough with lorpen liner. We use the platypus gravity works. Just brought a dirty and clean back but packed a extra filter just in case.
When you’re cumming heavy so you just keep flinging rounds at a ram..#fierce
My pack is at 81 with everything including rifle
@@TheFlanman10 ya been there cant seem to break the 70lb mark on these longer hunts
Why is that car in the parking lot in the beginning surrounded by chicken wire???
porcupine problems over the years have been known to chew on rubber brake lines
Killers kill. Well done fellas.
That cabin should be renamed !!!!
درود داری ❤❤❤ فاصله تا هدف چند متر بود ؟
What size game bag did he have in the kuiu pack?
@@codyfletcher519 im pretty sure we had mediums for this hunt, usaully large on an elk hunt
Great Ram! - What did the CI age him at?
9yrs old officially
Good work boys. Those packs look about 150 pounds each. Way to come out heavy 🤙
Thanks! The packs were heavy for sure
Absolutely awesome hunt guys .. what happened with the shot ?
Anchored him with the first one and then tried to follow up with a few more with no luck, the first one did the trick!
Lose your shit music…..wrecks your video
What Fierce rifle? Nice show
Carbon rougue in 300PRC
Northern BC makes the Colorado/Montana hunts that dominate western hunting media look like a day-hike in a petting zoo.
Amazing ram, hoping to try for my first in the next couple years. How many km did you guys go in approximately, looked like a brutal packout!
I think around 12 km in
nice Beautiful old ram hard earned and weell deserved , congratulations great video and awesome country ,
This is an awesome capture of your hunt! Congrats fellas. What was the final age? 10?
Came in at 9. We had though possibly he was into his 20th year as well.
Good stuff and congrats on another great ram
Congrats on a dandy ram way to go
Good stuff boys!! Nice ram!!
best hunting show I've seen in a while guys, congrats on a beauty animal
Thanks man!
Devin congrats on the ram Nicely done you put in the sweat for it doing that grinder of a Zombie walk. It's awesome to see it on TH-cam. Take care Marty.!
Thanks!
Everything a good sheep hunt should be. Congratulations!
After listening to the Podcast first about this hunt you boys really did a great job describing. Congrats well earned as always
thanks buddy!
Solid Ram, congrats. Love that country. Took my first ram 7 km se from there in .91. Long pack outs under heavy weight kick your ass. Full Props
NICE, best thing about the mountains 30 years later and there still the same!
You took a longer countour around the back for the packout, creek bottom must have been nasty. was it the right call. @@comeoutheavyhunting8836
@@comeoutheavyhunting8836 You took a longer contour around the back for the pack out, the creek bottom must have been nasty. looking back was it the right call ?
@@Gpenninga ya the creek on the way in was steep and rugged opted to battle brush on the way out and also see what the access was like that way as well since it was our first time in there
@@Gpenninga not totally sure we could've gotten out of that creek bottom if it was raining Steep, rocky with some routes. We likely would've made it, but it would've been a sketchy and exposed climb.
Best part was at 15:06
Great videos fellas! And beauty ram👍
Just found the podcast boys 👌 good stuff
Great video can't wait for part two!
I notice you didn't use the load shelf to carry out the meat. Curious about why. You must've done an amazing job of packing the hide and meat into packs that were already full.
Guys guys guys! Why in earth would you blast the terrain all over the internet? I can pinpoint where you are way to easy. Leave something for people to figure out 🤬 There is already a comment asking for info on the quad trail. There once was this place called Joffre Lake near the lower mainland. People start posting this kinda crap and now it’s a totally disaster. Please for the love of the outdoors. Figure it out and quick trying to get some credit. If someone private messages you sure, help them out but stop with cheat sheets.
Quad trailer! SMH 🤦🏻♂️
Good old hard work pays off again. Awsome to see how patient and calm you are.
Great film gents! Best of luck this year!!
Long time listener of the podcast. Great work and nice to see another Canadian making content. One question though, I need more info on that quad trailer.
Great hunt but would have been better with out F bombs nice ram exceptional country🐏
Nice ram
Awesome hunt and a great video!!!
Hell of a grind boys👊 Really enjoyed the no bullshit, real deal style of the vid. Congrats on a beauty of a Stone Sheep and thanks for sharing!
Great hunt!
Great videos guys👍 way to grind it out. Impressive ram, well done🤟
Great first video boys! Beautiful country, great ram, and even better memories! Now lets see a come out heavy spring turkey/bear vid!
Great video and awesome ram boys!! Congrats
And you had excellent music not that heavy metal or rock and roll like some of those guys have
Sweet vid boys, deadly ram, fun to watch and some beautiful country you covered!
Great ram guys and awesome video guys. I would recommend you film in a horizontal format instead of vertical format. This would make them even better then they already are.
Hey thanks Tom that was a pretty rookie mistake for sure and first on our list for making them better. Thanks for checking it out!
@@comeoutheavyhunting8836 no worries guys look forward to the next one. Just jealous you are able to Stone sheep hunt every year. I harvested my Stone out of Toad River in 2013. 👍
You did a great job. Beautiful Ram, Beautiful country. I just would like to know what caliber rifles and what bullet weight you guys were using. Being young you probably were using one of the short magnums. Probably 300 Winchester short mag. I'm an old-timer. I would have used a German 300 weatherby.
you nailed it was a 300wsm very good! shooting 185gr Bergers out of a tikka T3
@@comeoutheavyhunting8836 I believe the stone is the most beautiful sheep in the world. The Marco Polo the most majestic.
Well done gents..
awesome video. Raw real videos like this are always my favourite. Subscribed to see whatever else you guys put out in the future!
thanks! thats wicked
awesome hunt guys congrats !
cheers!
Good job guys, Nice heavy Ram! Excellent video
Thanks! Glad you liked it
