Man, why didn't they do a waltz to the crescendo of the piece? It's at like double the starting tempo and would have been a lot more impressive / engaging. Also their steps could have been at double the time they presented and fully matched the piece. Their steps don't match the energy of Joe Hisaishi's work at all 😕 disappointing.
Maybe they didn't becaste it's THEIR dance and they can do it however they want??? This was for them, and not with the expectations of it being perfect. If you want to see a choreography to that song just search for it, or better yet make one yourself
Our choreography was tailored towards being beginner ballroom dancers. We decided it would be best to start with a slow waltz and finish with a short segment of the faster Viennese Waltz which isn't even really taught to beginners. 3 years later we actually know how to Viennese Waltz, so we are considering redoing this dance at a higher level.
