Is that site good for winter?
We camped there back in May. Our only complaint was no cable. It would be nice to have it in the evenings.

What camp # were you at? And how far of a walk to the lake is the campground?
What site number did y’all stay at?
It is not true that they charge for 50 amp anymore. That changed in 2023.
We stayed there.to go to carlsbad. Nice campground to bad the lake is basically poisoned and surrounded by fracking wells and gas flares. Smelled awful and dangerous to your health. We experienced the fracking quakes while at sitting bull spring and I worry about carlsbad being damaged or destroyed by the fracking in the Permian basin.

Man the roads have been trashed for about 6 years but they have been bad for about ten years. They will do patch work but within 2months they are already bumpy. The one thing you didn’t mention was the FISHING. The place where y’all hung out and had a picnic is a good spot for Buffalo and Drum on live minnows or dead but if you walk Directly down from the Adult Lodge and fish along that ledge and continue to walk down all the way to the point you can catch nice big Cats and Gar and sometimes a Striper or two. Gold fish is the only❤
