Approximately 110 Billion people have ever lived on the planet Earth. Of all humans that ever lived, less than 10 humans (infants,children,adults) have been killed by a .177 pellet gun. Is the .177 pellet lethal? If 10 out of 110 billion seems high then yes. Using that logic then you probably want to avoid paintball guns too because at least one person has been killed with a paintball pellet. If you exclude humans, then any .177 air rifle can be very deadly to an ant, a squirrel, rabbit, etc. Obviously when you go to higher caliber air rifles (22,24,etc) it is a different story due to physics. Those projectiles can indeed be very deadly to humans.

Have you looked at the Stoeger STR9 way better deal than the Glock 17. stainless steel magazine and a stainless steel guide rod and under $350 and plus I love the trigger and I like using them Federal HST 124 grain they have beautiful expansion
